sorry mods if this is the wrong section for this.

Wifey and I are exclusively Bellagio and have been for years. After reading a few threads about people staying a few days at one property fro a few days and moving to another for a few days, I am kicking around the idea of doing that in May. seems like some like it b/c it makes the trip seem like two trips in one. Thats why we would do it.

I have a host and Bellagio and he's fantastic, but what I'd like to do is talk to a host at Wynn/Encore to see what they could offer me. Then Wifey and I will head of the the Bellagio for a few days after that. Probably 3 days at each property. I'm mainly slots. 5 or 6 digits for the trip.

    1. Should I talk to my Bellagio host about any of this?
    2. Should I talk to the Wynn host about any of this?
    3. Any suggestions on who to contact at Wynn?
    4. I already have a red card at Wynn so they know my amount of play b/c I already get offers from them.
    5. Any pitfalls?
    6. Need more info from me? just ask.

thanks in advance for 'constructive' replies.

Just book your Bellagio stay with your Bellagio host and the Wynn stay with your Wynn host. No need to talk to either of them about your plans with the other property.

By the way whatever happened to that evidence you were going to post from your casino executive friend about them rigging slot machines? :poke:

I've changed hotels a few times and it really spoils the trip for me. Have to check out before noon, can't check in until 3. With comps it's not so bad, but it's still something I don't savor doing and would rather do less of than more of during my holiday.

Though I like the idea of spending nights at different hotels, after settling in and unpacking... the idea of repacking, taking all of the luggage downstairs to pull it through the casino again, finding a taxi, loading it into a taxi, getting it out again, checking in, and unpacking in the new room, etc... it really ruins a half a day of Vegas time for me, which I hate. You can't plan anything. You just can't plan for how much time it's going to take. If you imbibed a bit the night before... well... your morning is going to suck that much more.

Just tell the wife or girlfriend to make a spa appointment for that time and you'll text them when the room is ready. That always seemed the best approach to me. Last thing you need is a cranky woman to add to the mess.

DON'T tell either place about the other, unless you're trying to play them off against each other, which is not your intent. At least not yet.

    ty for the replies.

Question: My Bellagio host sends a car for me at the airport when I arrive. Now, lets say I end up finding a host at the Wynn and they end up picking me up from the airport when I get there. Now, 3 days later, I walk into the Bellagio. (obviously my host knows I coming). Wouldn't you think my host would wonder what was up? And why he didn't need to send a car to the airport?

Lie. Simple as that. Tell your Bellagio host that you don't need a ride to the airport because you are renting a car and doing some site seeing in the area, or staying with friends for a few days, something like that. Take a cab to the Wynn. Use same story for Wynn host, just in reverse.

Have him send the car to Wynn to pick you up and bring you to the the B. This happens all the time in Vegas where one property sends their car to another property to pick somebody up. There is nothing mysterious to it.

RC is right....it happens all the time.

My Aria host once sent us in a limo from Aria to Wynn. She hated doing it, but she knows we like Wynn better and our comp at Aria included limo service.

I wouldn't make a big deal about it on either end. The limo thing is not as awkward as it seems, they don't really care how you arrive. If you ask them to set up a departure limo to somewhere other than the airport, they do it.

If I'm going from Bellagio to Caesars I just walk across the bridge with my bag. About 15-20 minutes from room to room, it hardly spoils the day. Then again at both props I have no real problem checking out or in at the time that suits me best.

We often will drag our bags down the street as the last poster said.

When doing two hotels, sometimes we overlap them. In this scenario, we would have a room at Wynn on last night, and at Bellagio. We then check into Bellagio and take bags later in day. Lots of different ways to work it.

    Host

KEEP ALL PLANs INDEPENDANT of each other. They don't need to know about each other! I have a great slot host at Wynn. She has been with Steve Wynn since the Mirage days. She is very kind with comps. If you play as you say you do you will most likely get room comped and prob 500 or so in food credit give or take.
