Staying at Harrahs for the 1st time this upcoming trip.

Have a deluxe double queen booked. What should I request for at check-in? From what I've read, the Mardi Gras tower has been more recently redone, correct?

A room with 2 queen beds is preferred. Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Last few times there they have had the fridge fully stocked for $25 with free refills for sodas, waters and candy. Had housekeeping load it up 4 times during or week long trip. Might be a possibility.

If your a Starbucks fan, use the one upstairs across from Toby Keith's. Generally less crowded than the 24 hour one below it.

I love staying at Harrahs. My best secret tip is...if you are going to the Venetian...go out the back doors where the cabs/parking garage are...walk down the street to the left...partway down the hill you will see a crosswalk...use the crosswalk to go into Venetians oversize parking garage, walk straight through to the elevators. If you are in a hurry it is much easier and quicker than going past Casino Royale and the long Venetian bridge/people mover entry. ;)

We've stayed there twice and would do so again. Both times we had two queen beds, not sure which tower. The rooms we had were clean, nothing special, AC fan was noisey.

Great location. Machines were tight. They have a craps table near the exit towards The Quad, lots of fun. There was a lady singing in the Piano Bar and she had all the folks in there singing. Depending on the song sometimes the craps dealers were singing too.

If you care for Elvis, see the free Big Elvis show in the afternoon at the Piano Bar.

Belive it or not you can NOT smoke cigars at any of the bars at Harrah's.......but you can smoke them a few feet away at the BJ table.......go figure.
