According to the info on Caesar's page, this is a return show. Have you seen it? Is it worth the $$? I do love Elton. Saw him and Billy Joel together. Fabulous show.

    Yes it is worth going.

I saw him at Caesars twice with my ex because we had such a good time.

Elton John is still a great performer and appeals to all ages. My girlfriend was 26 at the time and called it one of her favorite shows.

See him now since CET seems to be moving to the cheaper low quality residencies like Britney Spears.

I don't think Caesars Palace and Planet Hollywood are chasing the same demographics.

Right--one of the few things Harrahs did not interfere with at Caesars Palace is the A list headliner entertainment. I would expect that to continue at CP and I believe they just signed Elton John for another 5 years. I have not seen the show but I have rarely heard anyone say it was anything short of excellent. The lower end CET props do indeed have lower end entertainment.

Me and my wife seen him in 2008 and it was a great show, we were on bit of a budget and were in the cheaper seats, would go and see him again and would get better seats next time.

EJ is good when he's not ticking down the minutes on the clock

He's been known to occasionally cut a show loose far too early, but Caesars management has done a pretty good job of keeping him happy, so it doesn't happen often anymore.

We saw him on a comp offer just this last October and I will say we were blown away. It was an amazing show. He can't quite hit all the very high notes, but he's such an amazing performer and engages the audience. He has so many amazing songs, we were so disappointed when the show (which was a good length) ended because he hadn't sung X, Y or Z.

We just saw him locally a few weeks ago. Elton played for 3 hours straight. It was a great show, you won't be disappointed. Worth every penny.

Can anyone confirm that EJ resigned? Curious if he will be there in the fall.

I found a couple articles from Sept 2011 that said he was back for a 3-year contract. But I can't find anything that says 5 years.

But I will say, this was an awesome show! I splurged for front row seats for me and my kids and it was worth every penny to be on stage with him for Saturday Nights Alright for Fighting. Then John Mahon threw his drumstick to my son at the end of the show. But the best was waiting for a high-five from Elton when the show was over and having him walk down the stairs and give my son a big handshake.

The misses and I have seen him twice. One of those shows she purchased tickets through his fan club and our entire row (row 5) was invited to go up on stage for his next song. We stood right next to the piano bench while he performed "Saturday". We were close enough to reach out and pat him on the head. It was an amazing show. Second show just as amazing!!

We are going on a comp offer on 4/18 also. I haven't seen Elton John concert since shortly after Goodbye Yellow Brick Road, so I am excited. Staying at Caesars, how about you?

I'm thinking about going next month... is it worth it to get the worst seat in the 2nd mezz? At $55 it seems worth a gamble...

I go to a ton of concerts, obviously I prefer being close, but I can't spend $500..

Totally worth it. It's one of the best concerts I've been to. Really not a bad seat In the place.
