    I haven't sat next to the runway and watched the planes take off and land since I was a child.
    Had no idea people still did that!

    I am still fascinated with seeing 747's takeoff and land. even though I live in a big city they dont land here.

    We have this at National Airport in VA. Gravelly Point Park is a very popular spot for planespotting.

    They fly very close overhead at the bus stop at Tropicana and Paradise.
