I just received and booked a "Spring" promo at the Wynn. I am far from a High Roller. The offer included an excellent rate of $129 / night along with 2 lunch buffets per day if at least 3 days are booked.

My question is this: after booking the Wynn for 4 nights, no where on the confirmation email / page did it mention the free buffets. I emailed the reservation desk asking if I would receive the buffet passes at check-in? They said the buffets would be comped to my room.

I recently read a review on tripadvisor.com about other Wynn customers not receiving their free buffets without any proper explanation from management. Has anyone else booked a similar deal with good / bad results? Thanks.

Just charge the buffets to your room and it should be wiped off the bill when you check out.

    What RB said.

If you're concerned, call and ask for casino marketing, not reservations.

I always print out a screen shot and bring it with me for every offer that has extras. Just go back to the offer page and print it out and have it handy

Was this an open promo? I'm traveling this spring and I'm shelling out a coll $200/night for a room at The Wynn (5 nights total). PM me if you don't want to put it in the thread.

With regard to the extras. Always put it on the room so you can have the discussion at check-out should anything go awry. If you've paid by cash with no paper trail (even with receipts) you're out on thin ice.

I did this last year. Just charge the buffet to you room, and they take it off your folio that evening. Each day I charged mine, and that very same evening it was removed. Easy peasy.

It is tied to your Wynn Card, just run $20 through a slot while you are there and you will get these types of offers all the time. I have done this and get these offers like clock work.

I got the same offer and I hardly ever play more than a few dollars per visit.

I got that offer (or something really close) I believe and I don't have a Wynn card. Just probably signed up for the newsletter.

    Use code WINFEB1

Receive two daily visits to The Buffet
in addition to these special WynnInsider rates
    for a Wynn resort room:

    139 Sun-Thurs
    229 Fri-Sat

or use WINFEB2 for 10% off if you prepay. Knocks it down to $125 and $206.

    Through May 16

This promo certainly helps me out!

What do you guys think, prepay now and ride it out or wait and hope for a better offer? My dates are May 12-17.

All my previous stays have been on company dime so now I'm very cost conscious all of a sudden.

EDIT: I pulled the trigger on this, can't expect rates to really dip any lower. An average of $174/night is pretty good (including the buffet which is $40 value/day).

    Something weird on checkout though.
This is what it looked like:

    Room Subtotal: $ 868
    Resort Fee: $ 140
    Tax: $ 105
    Total: $ 1,113

At the same time I'm hit with this:
A daily resort fee of $25 plus tax will be added to your room account at check-in.

So we have two sets of resort fees now? This is silly, just bundle it with the rate and be done with it!

No, Resort fee is $25 + tax so it's $28 (same at every high end resort in town). So $140 for 5 nights. Plus sales tax on the room which is the $105.

I wish they'd just add it in, I get duped every time by low rates haha.

You saved a bunch, so consider that is paid for your resort fee!! Plus the two $30 buffets a day, not a bad deal for Wynn!

    Yes

I had that happen once . For some reason not all employees are up to speed on all the promos . I did like someone said I charged my comp offers to my room and then called the desk before my checkout and discussed the situation since it was still showing on my on line bill. They were good about it and took it off my bill before my actual check out. I always check out on the interactive TV to avoid the lines and thats why I checked there and called. But it was simple so don't worry they will honor your comp package.

Ok, From how I read it it looked like there would be a resort fee in addition to the $1113 total.
