My buddy told me about a very good chowder place, and he was right. It's in the Caesar's Palace food court, and I believe it's called lobster @ chowder. The food court is right by the entrance to the forum shops, and the lobster chowder is awesome. Didn't get to try the clam chowder, but that will be rectified next time.

We also ordered the fish and chips, and they were excellent as well. The chowder, F&C and a drink came to $26 dollars and was plenty to feed two(I'm not a small man). Not cheap, but not bad for Vegas, and the quality made the price a non issue.

I love lobster but not in any kind of sauce, just broiled with butter (YUM). But I may give lobster chowder a shot, it sounds good.

We went there for years just so I could get the lobster chowder....last trip - the girl told me they took it off the menu and only had clam chowder. I was crushed!!! Is it back? Anyone gotten it there within the last 8 months? Hoping....... lol

Slightly off-topic, but if you like lobster then the Lobster roll at Lobster me is pretty good. Expensive though at $30.

I had it today at opening, there was a line in the food court for it to open. It was fairly popular.

I wasn't a huge fan of the lobster chowder. It had the color and appearance of lobster bisque, and even smelled like bisque, but did not have the flavor. They did cut up lobster and put it in there, but there was also other stuff in the soup - potatoes and other veggies. I am a big fan of lobster bisque and maybe that's what I was hoping for with this. The cup was $8.99 and the bread bowl was $10.99. There is a discount with a Total Reward card, but didn't catch how much discount they gave me.
