    Hi team,

Both dueling piano shows with drinks can be had for 50k lps. The MC offer $100 credit plus VIP seating-- whatever that is. The NYNY show offers $50 and claims to be the best.

I've heard great reviews about the Times square pianos; I've heard absolutely nothing about the Fuel the Duel at MC. Which would you go for? Why?

Go to the piano bar at Harrahs - no cover. Then leave whenever you need beers and go to Casino Royale for $1 michalobes or $2.50 heinkins and take them into the piano bar.

I am interested in this as well. You get twice the money at MC and a seat whereas at NYNY you don't get seating

I did NYNY last year (may), we had 2 vouchers, and this was when it was $75 per voucher....
Paid $5 cover to get in, went in around 11pm....
You don't want to be seated, you want to be standing up, drinking and dancing around, as its the best thing!!

Had a great night in the NYNY, just a shame I don't recall the walk back to the luxor at 2 in the morning ! :D :vomit: :vomit: :vomit: :vomit:

We will try the MC piano bar voucher in May, so hoping it has the same atmosphere! :)

Show me the money Jerry, show me the money!!!

My Wife and I just did the MC Dueling Piano in early Feb. It was our first time to any dueling piano bar but we had an absolute blast and would definitely do it again. The players were a little a older so naturally tended toward older more rockish songs but they were very good and it was all very enjoyable.

No idea what the VIP seating is about but we waited 10 min to get a table since everything was full when we got there right at 9 but the seats were right in the very middle closest to the pianos so no complaints there.

The drinks/beers were fantastic. Each mixed drink was approx $12 and the beer prices were all on the menu and it's very extensive. Would highly recommend

For anyone looking for a piano bar I highly recommend the above!

I have been to piano bars on cruise ships and enjoyed them, so I am not a piano bar virgin, lol.

I see using a MyVegas comp on the piano bar a complete waste and would encourage you to do the above and find another comp to use.

    Thanks for he input Donny...

I am going on a weekend of Easter, have comped rooms. So rooms are out. Most buffets are blacked out that weekend cause of the holiday. We are staying at NYNY so the piano bar idea would probably be a good value??? I am leaning towards Nine Fine though cause most nights me and DW head downtown for cheaper table mins.

    Thank you for your insights

If there isn't another reboard you want then the piano bar at New York New York is fine.

I've heard good reviews of it although I've never been to that one.

I am just trying to save a reward for those that just want to piano bar and could use other rewards.

My wife and I did the Monte Carlo one last August. Got there around 9:15pm on a Thursday and got seat straightaway that was against a wall but could still see everything fine. The deal was free bar (beers and house spirits I think) until 12. I was on pints of Bud Light Lime and my wife was on vodka and coke. We had around 6 drinks each in that time and our server, Jose, never left us with an empty glass. The vodkas were at least doubles and made the walk back to MGM interesting! My wife said the double cheeseburger from McDs was the best she'd ever had, she started singing Gold by Spandau Ballet at the top of her voice when she saw the slot in NYNY and wouldn't leave until she had a go on "the big spinny thing" in there too.

The pianists were great. Played plenty of songs and were quite funny with it. They also had karaoke where people could get up and sing with them if they liked. Some people on here said that they were only after tips and not playing enough but I didn't see it that way. All in all, we had a top night and would definitely return!

On a side note, we also had the NYNY reward but didn't get a chance to use it. Redeemed it on the Tuesday but my wife got sick later on that day and ended up sleeping most of the night. We went to the Mlife desk on the Wednesday and explained it to them and they very kindly swapped it for the Wednesday night instead which really they didn't have to. When we went that night we were bummed to see that while it was on, it was closed to the public for a private event! Maybe it just wasn't to be. Also, there is a cover and I think it was $15 per person when we went.

    Hope this helps.
