Where would you send me, a solo female who enjoys fine food. Are there some places that would not be good to go to solo? $$ is not really an object.

    Where you staying?
    When are you going?
You a fish, steak, vegan type of person?

For Me, I can eat steak & lobster every day.

One of my favorite places to eat solo is Red 8 at Wynn.
Nothing too fancy, I just happen to love the food.

    Enjoy.

L'atelier Joel Robuchon at MGM. The restaurant is centered around the bar and you can watch the chefs in action. The food is fabulous and I noticed several single people the last time I visited.

It also depends on your comfort level of dining alone.
I can eat solo at Carne Vino (love it at V/P) but might feel strange at SW Steak at Wynn.

Some places have great bars where you can get the full menu.

On occasion, when dining alone, I've been invited to join some nice random strangers. This has always been fun when it happens.

Your age plays in. If you are younger (or feel young) I'd recommend Andrea's.

Weather permitting, I would try to get out on the patio at either Prime or SW.

I travel solo 90% of the time and love it, can dine alone anywhere. I've always wondered why people can't eat alone? :peace:

Agreed--I wind up having the greatest conversations with bartenders at better restaurants and it really is quite fun for me to dine alone at the bar in a nice place.

French Laundry or this place for the tasting menu is my ultimate food nirvarna.

if money is no problem then do it.

    but please post a review.

closest I came was a very very good restaurant in the Luxembourg gardens in Paris. sadly unappreciated by a couple of my co-workers.

I've gone solo a few times, and eat alone in my hometown a lot (as I live alone). I wasn't totally comfortable going to a sit down joint alone unless I sat at the bar. I had a great meal at the bar at BURGR and that felt totally fine. I had breakfast at Bouchon alone, that was wonderful as always. I also feel breakfast/brunch is less awkward than dinner since it's more casual.

I generally lean towards quick serve places when I'm alone though...

    My favorite places in general:

    Bouchon
    Mon Ami Gabi
    Border Grill
    GR Steak
    Stripsteak
    Holstiens or BURGR

If youre not familiar with Joel Robuchon at MGM, they have the 16 course meal there that is around $400-500. and takes about 4hrs. :)

They also have 4-6 course ones for $150-200ish.

On my last trip to Las Vegas, I did a lot of things on my own and loved it! I think people go out of their way to make women feel comfortable. I sat at the bar at Sage, the 20 something man next to me and the bartender were awesome! I had a great experience with everyone I met!
