Well, if this had been at MSS he could have gotten a $2 scratch card too.

Not that I got close, but I was playing at Sunset Station over Super Bowl weekend and played the JoB $1 machine, with a 50k payout for a sequential RF. For you VP experts, the trade off for that 50k bonus payout, was instead of 9/6 full pay machine, it was 9/5. Is that better or worse odds?

Good luck to that guy - think if it had been me the drink would've been empty though, and they would have security guys propping me up for the photo !

A 50,000 coin sequential royals adds about 0.2%. The loss of 1 unit of flush costs you 1%.

    Not a good trade off!

"How was the casino today dear?"

    "I won $200,000"

"Aw, good for you, now what would you like for dinner? Survivor is on in a few hours"

That is kinda what I figured, isn't it always the rule if they give you some kind of bonus they are taking away somewhere else. :D

I never play VP but I had no idea there was such thing as a sequential royal. Pretty awesome though.

Yea, this guy should be kicked our of Vegas for playing a machine with such terrible odds.

And, 2 pair pays the same as JOB.

    Damn them!

    LOL!

That's because he's playing DDB where 2 pr always pays 5 credits. Also FP for DDB is 10/6.

Either way, you're right he should be banned for playing a machine w/ such crummy odds! LOL

Wait....isn't that what Vegas is all about....gambling and beating the house that one moment that things go in your favor?:nworthy::drunk:

That is a sweet jackpot but the old guy does look a little under-excited.

Remided me of a trip years ago when the Mirage was still the Mirage. An old guy was playing $5 VP and hit the RF for $20K and he just stays seated and casually says to his wife across the aisle..."hey honey, I hit the RF". He hardly had a change in his demeanor from before and after. I suppose when you get to that 5-10 yrs from "checking out", money means less and less.:rolleyes2:

I hope he tipped for that drink.

I don't care what the math is on a royal, there's no scenario I would go for iy with 4 to a royal.

When I first saw this thread I thought it would be a 200k royal on a $50 game. Those things never wow me since its just a normal royal but at higher than usual stakes. But hitting for 200k on a $2 game is friggin awesome, probably the coolest VP porn I've ever seen.

The guy does have a "been there, done that" type of look about him.

He's probably a local, playing at Sunset Station--and he certainly should have known not to play 8/5 DDB--but he sure got away with it in this case!

Me too! I was expecting to be unimpressed, but was pleasantly surprised. 25x normal payout on a Royal is awesome.
