Venetia tower

I let my father do THE reservation for venetian and now i found put THE place he booked is THE venetia tower and not the venetian lol

After reading up on it doesn t sound bad but THE long walks are a minus.

So we booked with à 50$ à day spending on room drinks i think and we have 2 Bella suites from 25 till 30 may

How should i approach THE check in clerk and what should i ask for?
How much should my bribe be?

How do you know for sure he booked the Venezia tower? (I assume that is what you meant?). It used to be booked separate but now I think they just assign those rooms out with the rest of them.

Honestly I think it is six half dozen or the other with that tower. The downside for some is that you have to take one elevator up a few floors and then a another elevator to your room. The upside is that it is right by the front desk, right by the side doors that give you quick strip access. It is also quiet and you have a private pool area.

The main tower is closer to the casino but further from the strip.

It won't ruin your vacation one way or the other - just request the main tower when you check in. Should be no issue (the rooms are identical)

 

I'd call the hotel now and see if you can change towers.

If you do wait until check-in, I would just politely ask for what you want. I don't think a bribe is necessary, nor do I think it will significantly increase your chances of getting what you want. If the front desk agent grants your request, a tip would be a nice gesture (I'd probably do $20).

The problem you might run into is that you'll be arriving Memorial Day weekend. It's usually very busy that weekend and the hotel is likely to be near capacity. (So call them now if it's very important to you.)

I wouldn't worry, it's not that far from everything, and it's close to Bouchon! Besides everything in the Venetian is a 4 mile walk... don't stay there if you don't wanna walk haha.

I'm pretty sure you could just ask to be in the regular tower no problem.

 

Been a while since we stayed there, but we used to do what thecarve said. We just asked very politely to be changed and did not offer a gratuity. We always got what we asked for.

It's not bad if you just keep what you have. Venezia Tower is the same as the others, just slightly less convenient. You take a walkway to cross over to the Venetian elevators on the tenth floor. There are a couple other navigations you learn pretty fast. And it is convenient to Bouchon.

Walking is not à probl. Really. 15 min walk to get to casino or something else is fine.

So we Will keep THE rooms since upgrade rooms with queens beds i cant find.

 

I have stayed in the Palazzo, Venetian, and Venezia towers. I felt the Venezia tower was kind of a bother to stay in.

It took too long to get to our room. We had to walk to the Venetian front desk, take an elevator, up ten floors to the Venezia front desk, walk halfway around the C-shaped tower to the rooms elevator, then up four floor to our room. I mean, come on Sheldon, why do I have to walk halfway around the hotel to get to the rooms elevator? You couldn't put it next to the main elevator?

It is a quiet vibe. That is either a plus or a minus, depending on your perspective. The pools are garden style and secluded. The only restaurant is Bouchon which is very luxurious and quiet.

All that being said, the nice hotels on the Strip are like beautiful women. There is something fantastic about each one. You can't go wrong.

 

If you plan to spend ALOT of time in the Venetian casino, yes definitely a pain to be in the Venezia tower.

If you want to get out to the strip fastest though I think Venezia is actually a little quicker. The main doors by the valet lead out to a walkway that is quick access to the strip.

 

I had a terrazzo suite in the Venezia tower years ago that was fantastic. It was on the 10th floor (1st floor of the tower) and the terrace was poolside. If you keep your Venezia reservation, I would ask for one of those. Hopefully they've reno'd the Venezia tower suites; it has been at least 5 or 6 years since I stayed in one of those suites and they were getting quite worn. I never had a big issue with the walk as I liked the secluded pool area.
