The newest version of the Android MyVegas app (updated yesterday for me) has a pop-up prompt to rate the app in the Play Store, encouraging people with an offer for free chips. The weird part is that it threatens to take chips away if you opt not to review it by clicking the "No - Lose Chips" button. There's also a "Later" button, which I've been pressing. Do you really think they take some chips away if you click no? Pretty bold if so. P.S. For the record, the app updates have been coming fast and furious and it's running great for me lately. Seems like PlayStudios is really committed to making continual improvements and removing any bugs.
This is how I would read it also. It's worded kind of boldly though. FWIW, the iphone version doesn't appear to be doing this yet.
I got the same thing on my iphone. So I went to the link and there was no rating option. I went back to the game and it gave me the 500 chips.
I said "No" and it doesn't take any chips away from you. It just means that you don't get the "free" 500. More annoyingly, almost every bonus I play, it asks me afterwards to share with my friends that I won X amount of chips. _That_ is the worst part about the new update.
Mine updated last night also. YES AND YES!!! Any decent win is now annoying because I have to check the box that says I don't want to spam my friend's wall with my game info. This was already the most annoying part of the desktop app and now I have to deal with this in the mobile app.
Agreed. Definitely a bummer to add that extra step with every bonus win. Especially because the check mark often isn't very responsive on my screen and requires several attempts to "un-check" the box. Let's all mention this when we take advantage of the 500 chips for our reviews!
yeah from my experience, it will always take a few seconds for you to be able to uncheck the box. I haven't tried whether "continue" is instantly responsive, but if I'm setting up a 100 auto-spin, the fact that i have an extra click and a few extra seconds of waiting is pretty terrible.
I agree wholeheartedly. Very irritating to mess with that each time. Other than that, I like the updates.
I'm getting the "rate" pop-up on my Kindle daily. I just hit the "later" button. Maybe I'll rate and get some chips so the darned thing will stop popping up.
I'm on IOS but I hit yes. It took me to the rating screen and I just clicked back on over to the app without reviewing it. It hasn't asked me again? So maybe by saying yes that's all it needed to leave me alone?
