Helps yes once again. I'm bringing about 50 people for a wedding in September from St. Louis and I'm wondering what the best way to book such a large group? With an agent or online? How expensive is it to charter a plane anyone have experience in this? Should I except any freebies since I'm the bride and bringing such a big group or am I outside my mind? Input is genuinely appreciated. :)

With that many definitely at least start with a travel agent. Your profile says you've been to Vegas 3 times, did you gambe enough to get any comps or do you have a host? How many nights will you be in town? Over a weekend or weekdays? You should be able to get a decent deal on the 25 or so rooms you'll need (depending if they are all couples). Just don't start asking everyone for their opinion. If you want everyone to stay in the same place then do your resarch and book the rooms. Trying to make everyone happy never happens and just wastes your time.

I don't know about charters but you can often get a better deal with an air/hotel package than booking those separate . A travel agent may be the best source in that case.

And by the way, congrats on your impending nuptials.

Call group sales at whatever casino-hotel you choose. With that many rooms you'll definitely get some love.

Can't help on the plane, though there def are charter services out there.

What Ken said. They should be able to get you a much better rate for everyone and maybe a nice upgrade for you and your husband to be. We did this for a MarchMadness meet-up a few years ago at the IP/Quad. Worked out pretty good.

I think most airlines will have a group sales department as well. Just doing a Google for "group airline discounts" pulled up American's website. My gues is all the airlines do something similiar. I would give them a call and see what they can do. Let us know what you find out

Cheers to you as well!!! Thank you so much!!!! It's been so fun researching everything I can't wait to get there!!! I did not gamble much really, we are staying Thursday through Sunday. I've given up trying to make everyone happy. People can come or not it's all good either way to me. I just want the biggest bang for my buck!
