All places closed except Fremont Hotel for now. I went to order the other day and they are closed for good. Sucks that was my favorite place for ribs.
The Fremont location is a tourist spot but I will probably give it a chance soon.
    I am heartbroken :(

I'm sorry! I hate when that happens! Love their onion rings!

Oh really? Even the place on Sahara? That always seemed to be doing a good business.

Yep! The Tony Roma's (Sahara) where Lefty Rosenthal's car bombing took place in the early 80's is no more, in fact, the Fremont location is the only Tony Roma's left in Nevada. Lefty's car war actually parked much closer to the Marie Callender's restaurant, but he was well know patron of the Tony Romas.

This chain has been struggling for a long time.

I'm a little confused. Is Tony's in the Fremont still operating or closed? I've had some very good meals there … and some pretty bad – bad enough that I won't go back. What's the verdict?

Doesn't surprise me that it closed. After spending a lot of time in KC and Memphis and guess I have been spoiled.

Their ribs were garbage, but I loved their Onion Loaf.

Their food is terrible, so I'm not sorry to see it go. Hopefully the Fremont replaces it with something good.

The location inside the Fremont Hotel is still open!

Funny thing about ribs is how beloved they are and how supremely easy there are to make at home, yet you can throw most anything on a plate in a restaurant, drown it in a gooey paste, and it's like some life-altering experience.

    lol

    No, that's just bad food.

Tony Roma's in Freemont was open when I was there Valentines week. They were calling waiting customer numbers/names non stop while I was in the casino every night.

I have never eaten there but they seem to have good prices for what they offer. But I am not a rib fan either.

Tony Roma's is a chain, but it's consistently good and we don't have one here (Omaha) anymore so it is something we will occasionally do in LV.

Yes Fremont is still open , however its not the same. They have never had happy hour and they do NOT cook there ribs as long as the off strip places did. The results are highly different. But I will have to tickle my tastebuds sooner or later and I will hit up Fremont.

ALSO EDIT: I am in the market for a good smoker. I don't want a POS I want a decent smoker and yes I am a rookie smoker. I am looking for the best smoker in the 2 to 4 hundred range. BBQ in Vegas in homemade I guess.
I need a major cash influx the strip needs ribs.
