Has anyone heard of any upgrades upon arrival from a terrace studio to the two bedroom city suite at Cosmopolitan? I'm going with a group of 16 girls for a bachelorette party in May and am planning on booking 5 terrace rooms and hoping to upgrade two of them to the two bedroom. I don't mind trying a 50-100 dollar trick either. ☺️

Well thats not a realistic upgrade to be asking for. I think Cosmo have like 30 of those rooms in total and they a priced similar to the Lanai suites.

If you want to try to get a terrace studio with two queens its possible but i would just go ahead and book it then.

I agree with Bomman... if you're able to pull that off, you are indeed off to a very LUCKY visit!

The multi bedroom suites are just not worth it unless end it's comp
    A 50/100!tip may just get u a wrap around that's if it's on a slow weekend

The 2 berm retail around 1200 Friday and sat. For that coin I'd rather do another hotel suite.

zero chance on a weekend... prebook the room you want, or stay somewhere where this might be possible.

Good to know! I just wish there was a suite option with two queens!

You can always try to book a suite with a connecting room (either 2 queens or a king).

I did get a paid upgrade from a standard room to a wraparound at Cosmo in Aug 2012. At an extra $50/night that was probably the best deal I've ever got in Vegas.

No idea if that's feasible today I was a Marriott Gold as well at the time so that might have helped.

why not just book at the jockey club its 100/nt and the suites sleep 6. you take a risk of 1 of 2 views, a wall of the cosmo or the bellagio.

Probably because if she is going for a bachelorette Cosmo blows Jockey Club out of the water, not even comparable.

Those rooms are generally held for big spenders. They only have a few and they will either get full cash or comp them.

Don't limit yourself to Cosmo. Book a hotel according to your needs, not your wants.

A lot of better and cheaper options out there.

As stated, it would be difficult to upgrade 2 rooms to the suite. Even 1 room would be a challenge at any casino. If it's the weekend, rooms will most likely be booked.

I think you ladies will enjoy Cosmo. 16 girls, have fun.

For the price of 5 Terrace Rooms, you could get something great elsewhere, or get more rooms to accommodate everyone comfortably. With 5 Terrace rooms you will only get 5 beds! that won't sleep 16 girls. Not to mention 16 girls getting ready in 5 bathrooms, nightmare! haha.

Honestly, I would just book 8 standard double bed rooms somewhere. (or less if they want to double up in the the beds). Or book one suite for you girls to hang out in and a bunch of regular rooms.

The only suite I know of anywhere that has 2 queens is the Mandalay Bay x3 room. http://mandalaybay.com/accommodations/mandalay-bay/x3-suite/

But yea as said above, multiple bedroom suites are never a good deal.

if you are set on cosmo,

id recommend trying to get 1 wrap around for the bride to be.
(it only has 1 king) so maybe 2 can sleep there

and a bunch of 2 queen city rooms or 2 queen terrace studios.

having marquee and RRL is a nice thing to have at the hotel.

Hehe! Thanks for all the input. Y'all are great!
I went the route to just book some terrace studios with queens and hoped for them to be together, but reservations had someone from their "celebrations" department contact me last night. They offer a discount if you're booking 5 rooms and you get a $50 resort credit for each room if your stay is longer than 2 nights. They offered our group reasonable rates on everything, the 2 br city suite included (less than 2300 for the entire weekend, which I didn't think was too bad, considering 6 people will be sharing the space). I think if I also got a couple terrace rooms and a city room. From what I can tell, the "celebrations team" has great customer service and they accommodated all of my requests... so far. We will have to see once we get there!!!

I would think the opposite. Bachelorette part probably isn't going to spend a ton of time in the room. Save the money for drinks or the club.

Think again, here are a few clues.

    1. Girls like to spend time getting ready for a night out and there is no such thing as a quick shower and makeup.

    2. When OP mentioned that they are looking for at least 1 suite maybe 2 along with the regular rooms that would be an indicator they are not looking for a quick place to just shower and crash at.

    3. If you have already booked the hottest place in the city but want to upgrade to nicer rooms they are not interested in Jockey Club.

    4. It aint exactly cheaper drinking it up a various bars at Cosmo then boozing in your own suite especially for a group of 16.
