So I was watching it the other day and from what I could tell it seemed to me that they were staying at the LVH. Although when Woody leaves Demi in the penthouse with Robert Redford he goes down to a rainforest type cafe and has a drink, he then has second thoughts and runs upstairs to find them gone. He finds out from the maid they are leaving in a helicopter, when he gets up there and the helicopter takes off you can see MSS and the Lady Luck. Things like that annoy me in a movie, so which hotel did they take off from? Binions or Freemont maybe?
There was some recent discussion of movie scenes shot in LV here recently and bottom line is the directors do not care about keeping it real. The actors could be at Mandalay Bay one minute and downtown the next..The thread might have been about Last Vegas?
They definitely stayed at the Hilton in Indecent Proposal and Aria in Last Vegas. But none of these films tries to really be accurate--like when they are walking in front of the Mirage "back to Aria" but are heading in the direction of TI...
