I wonder when the MLife people will finally get their sh** straight….tried to book a promo on the MLife website showing under my offers – I get to the book now option and it says it failed to book because “promo code invalid for property”. Seriously? How many years has it been since they launched this site and still they cannot figure out how to get it working properly. I say fire the whole IT department and hire people who actually know what the hell they are doing! Argh. So frustrating.

I am thinking people outside of IT are as much to blame for their site. Corporate marketing types maybe?

Like... why only show 9 offers by default. And why show the stupid pictures of hotels by default. I just want to see the offer and do not need some fancy pictures.

I agree the site still kinda sucks. Its slow and locks up a lot.

Have you tried contacting them directly to file a complaint. It might do more than posting on here. Well, maybe not but you never know... Just saying...

I've gotten that message a couple of times. It's hard to remember exactly, but I think it was one of the few times anything other than a Tier Discount offer showed up in my account.

    I think it was either:
    • The offer had an expiration date (which couldn't be seen anywhere), and I was trying to book past that date.
    • It was a Tier Discount rate but I was trying to book too far in advance. Different properties have different lengths of rates loaded into their systems, so you may be able to book a far out date for one property but not another.

That offer just showed up today (yes, I really do check every day) and it says good until July 31. I'll just call them when I get home.

    Define works?

Yesterday I had 30+ offers in there. Today I have zero. I have a trip booked coming up and no corporate offers since last Oct. I ended up calling the hotel i want to stay at and wouldntcha know I have $150.00 in Freeplay, $25.00 in resort credit and my room comped for a week. Why they cant get this info into the site is beyond me.

By works I mean it always shows offers at the hotels I want to stay at, never lags, always displays my status metrics...

Hey, at least you had 30 offers :)

I have nothing but reduced room rates. I earned 196,000 tier credits on my stay in November, and I have no offers. No corporate offer either. But that's OK. I just booked the Vdara one bedroom loft for my June stay to use up my $1,100 in express comps. I will use this trip to make friends at the Wynn and Venetian.

Maybe absence will make the heart grow fonder :evillaugh

I very seldom bother to look at their website anymore but have never thought it was even close to functional for booking offers. CET's website is SO much better it is ridiculous. If I was an exec at MGM and compared the two I would be embarrassed.

Wow, now I don't feel so bad! That's crazy. I wonder what level of play they are requiring now to actually get something besides reduced rates. Hope they at least gave you a good rate at Vdara!

The"Offers" displayed on their website are meaningless.
I don't even check it anymore.

I earned 320000 tier credits on my New Years Eve trip yet the only offers posted are discounted rates at all the hotels.

Since then,I received two separate snail mail offers for suites, reort credit, etc.

My host at Aria told me not to go by posted offers and just to call.

I know I can call, but actually I'm kind of looking forward to staying in an obscenely nice suite at the Vdara, and having a "no obligation to play" kind of trip.

I can usually get a suite for 3-4 days in Vegas. At least half of the time, no such offer is on the web site. So, I just call.

You are telling us that all of your offers show up on the website? You would literally be the only gambler I have ever heard from to say this.

I have mailers from Bellagio, Aria, Mirage etc. All with $100+ in free play, $50+ in resort credit and a room for 3-5 nights. But none of these ever made its way to the website.

I keep my mailers and I probably have 20 or so from MGM properties in vegas and none of those show online except for Monte Carlo (5 nights comped)

I just logged in now, and I have 2 legit offers out of 18. Yesterday i had no offers posted. The other 16 are for "special" rates at properties that have sent me mailers for free rooms and extras.

Now that is really strange because back when I got offers (yuk, yuk, yuk), I have always had good luck with both Aria and Mirage showing up on the web-site. Never Bellagio though. Although again, with both Aria and Mirage - neither would show you the free play amount on the web - so you either had to wait for the snail mail copy, e-mail or call to find out your free play amount.

    Thats not what I said...

I said I always have an offer for the hotels I want to stay at...whether this is ALL of my offers...I dont know...but is doesnt really matter to me since I always have offers I want...

I seriously believe the website is much more for newcomers to MLife than it is long timers, my offers on the site always suck pretty much, reduced rates and such, but my email and snail mail offers direct from properties and hosts have kept getting better each trip. May be wrong but that's really become my POV on the site.

I am with JosieCat here. 170000 in tier credits in one trip,--no offers showing. Only discounted rooms. Like her, I do occasionally get e-mails and flyers for free shows or the Superbowl party type stuff. Never a true offer. I just had to use our host to book this weekend and Eagles tickets. MGM website seems off.
