all of these are so good and true, especially the chain restaurants and timeshare people.

I gotta say shopping is something that doesnt appeal to me. I get pissed when they give up gaming space to build a new [STRIKE]mall[/STRIKE] retail complex with ridiculous stuff I would never buy. The worst is when these casinos make it so you have to walk through them to get to your destination, i.e. Paris to Ballys. I always end up getting lost in one in a drunken haze!

Also, costumed street performers have pretty much run their course. Nobody wants a picture with a guy in an old spiderman costume 2x too small with filthy reeboks and a fanny pack.

This is my biggest one. It makes it annoying just trying to walk the strip and enjoy the sights and sounds. The timeshare folks in certain resorts are annoying as well, but not as aggressive.

    Hookers
and the whole strip club thing
( When I was single - somehow I always hooked
up w/ women wanting a fun time, in Vegas...not paying for it. )
    *
    High End Chef restaurants
    ( I guess, I'm not a foodie )
    *
    Clubs
    ( I'm too old now....but I never liked them - and I
played in rockbars for a decade )
    *
    Slots
( it's too mindless for me - no strategy )

More and more shopping malls/areas. I don't go to Vegas to shop.

I don't care about the clubs and "name" DJ's. Nothing wrong with them, just not interested.

Never cared for slots, I'm a craps/BJ/poker player.

As for the costumed people, most of them would just be out there begging anyway so putting on a costume is at least an attempt to do something to earn a few bucks. But yeah, many are so lame I don't know why anyone would want a pic.

Hookers - There's no way to really know for sure but it seems to me as if there are less of them on the street than there used to be. Perhaps it's just because I tend to do a lot more weekday trips than weekend trips as I used to.

Timeshare people piss me off. "How long are you in town for", "Do you plan to see any shows". Blah blah blah.

I've never been a buffet fan but I do enjoy some of the higher end ones that have opened in recent years, Wicked Spoon, Bacchanal, etc.

Clubs - never had any interest, even when I was younger.

Shopping - I can shop at home. Isn't that why Amazon was created :) I am embarrassed to admit all the stuff I buy from Amazon.

High end restaurants (not a foodie). I like buffets. I can get a non fast-food meal - fast.

Strip Clubs for sure. Ones in Vegas(and most of the USA) are nowhere close to what you get in Quebec.

Timeshare hawks, I hate the ones that really get in my face. I resort to swearing at them in French at that point. They back off usually.

I don't like any of them, but for me, the worst these days are the guys trying to hand out their CDs. at least the costumed people and water sellers aren't sticking their products directly in my face. The CD guys are even worse than the porn slappers. The porn slappers just stand there. The CD guys actually move into your path to try and get your attention

Yeah, the last time I was in L.A. it was even worse, there they try to run up and put their headphones on you. The music pushers and the "club promoters" are among the worst for sure. I was surprised to not see near the amount of "porn slappers" as in the past?? They seem to have fallen out of favor.

When at Paris in October we needed directions to the Jersey Boys showroom and I saw what I thought was a concierge desk but was actually a timeshare desk. The look on the guys face as he saw two people actually walking up to HIM was priceless. He was surprised when I asked where the showroom was but he told me and we moved on before he could even attempt his pitch.

    Chain Restaurants-- Denny's, Outback etc.

Frozen Drink Stands and the giant ask cups-- Do we really need a Fat Tuesdays every 4 feet?

Washed up stars hawking stuff-- Do I really want to go something or buy something from Vince Neil, the Kardashians etc.

You should be able to get you while playing table games as well. They are very common in poker rooms as people are sitting there for long periods of time.

Yeah I've seen it in poker rooms, would love to have that option at the BJ tables. Tougher to do at the craps tables.

    Crowds!
Bars where is more than $8 for a beer!

But I would hate to see any of the above disappear. I love variety (even the stuff I don't care about).
