    Hey guys,

Does the Monte Carlo get the sun all day by the pool ?
When you do a google earth view, it makes it look as though the buildings keep it in the shade ?

Looking at staying there for 4 days, but as we like to sunbath for like 6 hours a day, just want to make sure it gets the sun, similar to that of the Luxor, Excalibur, etc....

Stayed there May 2013. The pool is definitely blocked by the building for a little while, but I recall it becoming completely sunny around 11am in May? Also the area near the beach volleyball court gets sun earlier as it is further away from the building.

    cheers for that
were going in May (end of May)
We normally get outside around 10:30 - 11am and spend until 5 or 6pm in the sun....

You saying from 11am onwards, it stayed sunny for most of the day ?

Stayed there MDW 2012 and did a cabana last July and my wife and her gf's loved it. Sun all day until 3 or so then the shadows started creeping in very slowly. You can be in the sun all day, may have to move once later in the day but the crowds dwindled especially in the July heat. MDW 2012 they had a foam party back in the pool by the volleyball court.

You can email or call the concierge and ask them to send you the pdf file for their cabana pricing and on the last page of the file is a layout of the whole pool area. This was the girl who sent it to us last year:

    Hope this helps.

We typically hang out in the lazy river and after about 11am, its all sun for the rest of the day.

hearing that is music to my ears, we love the sun all day, so choosing a hotel with a good pool and no shade is essential!!! :)
