I have reviewed the archives and found many threads on this subject. I was hoping some of you could help me with the parameters I have to work with.

I have been asked to help plan a bachelor party for 10-12 guys. They are all late 20's early 30's and I am the "old" guy who knows Vegas. They would like to spend about $75/person/night. Elara 2/3/4 br suites are all out as the main party area is not big enough (600 ft2). Same goes for Hospitality suite at Vdara (about 850ft2 for party area). Bellagio 2 br penthouse is also about 800 ft2 party room. Planet Hollywood Boulevard suite is well over the $75/night.

Help! Any suggestions? How much are suites at Hard Rock or Palms? Am I missing something that falls within these parameters? How about $100/person/night?

I would try the Sky suite at Aria or the Skyline suite at MGM. They are known for being the biggest and best for partying on the Vegas strip.

Dates are Fri-Sun 7/18-7/20. Guys, thanks for the quick replies. I have stayed myself in the Sky Suites and know for sure the party area is not big enough to fit what is requested. Are the Skyline suites within the budget? What suites are good at Palms? Anything in this budget?

as i said i belive your budget is way to low.

most places dont qoute prices out on line for suites like that.

you will have to call and ask , also a few factors, some place wont let you bring your own booze in for parties. they will want to cater and supply a bartender so becareful how you word what you want when you make the res.

also rates will depend on what else is happeng in town that weekend and what high rollers that property might have.

rember a regular room for a saturday nite is probaly close to 150 to 200$. so a big suite 2500$ and up

for your dates for the venetian its 5000$ a nite so 10 grand total ,theres your answer about your budget

    Penthouse Suite 2900 square feet
The Penthouse features everything you would expect in a world-class suite - a master bedroom with a king-sized bed, multiple HD TVs, a fireplace, second bedroom with a queen bed, two marble-floored bathrooms with jetted tubs and separate, glass-enclosed showers, incredible views and a fully stocked refreshment center and wet bar.

    Fri.18
    $5,000.00
    Sat.19

Are you talking about a place for 12 guys to stay or just to party?

We've had a couple bachelor party trips with at least that many guys and more and we've almost always used the Marquee Suite at MGM or the similar one at MB. They are nothing really fancy but they have a big living area where we had a lot of people partying, strippers dancing, etc. The price is really reasonable too, I've even had them comped.

But you couldn't have 12 people actually sleep there unless they really don't care about sleeping on floors and wherever they can find room. Those suites have 2 bedrooms on either end, 1 king and 2 queens (or full size).

You guys are staying the weekend so the price of the hotel will be higher. For 10-12 guys with 100 per night, that makes a 1k-1.2k per night.

The SKYLINE TERRACE SUITE has an outdoor patio which is pretty large. The suite itself is about 1300 sq ft. The Marquee suite is bigger, but does not have the outdoor patio. For your price, the Marquee is probably the best bet.

Bellagio and Aria 2BR penthouse suite are about 2000 sq ft. The 2-BR skyloft is great with the pool table, but the cost is at least double your budget.

You may want to check with the Palms. I have never stayed there. The palms is off the strip so you guys will be taking taxi if you want to go to the strip.

it sounds to me like both wich is very tricky.

i suggest one party room and the rest all take regular rooms.

either way there budget is way to low

The Hard Rock has several suites that would easily be large enough for a group of 10-12:

Not sure of your dates, if they include a weekend... the rate jump tremendously. I'm not sure you'd get any of the larger suites for under $2,500/night as paperposter indicates. He's also correct about bringin' in your own booze etc.

I like the idea of getting a nice-sized, reasonable suite or "party room" and then adjoining or close rooms. The Celebrity Suite at the Hard Rock in the Casino Tower is large and perfect for that and not that expensive, cause it's not really all that well-appointed... it's just large.

This is for 10 guys to stay.

The Skyline Marquee Suite is $781 (plus taxes/fees) with my host discount. The Terrace suite is awesome, but not within budget. Would the marquee have enough room for 9 guys to sleep all over the floor (not me, I will be elsewhere)? The Aria 2 br Penthouse is another good choice at $750/nt (plus taxes/fees). My concern with both of these is the public area. Are they bigger than Elara (which I know they do not want) or Vdara Hospitality suite?

I would suggest just getting regular rooms and resrving some space at a pub or bar and partying there. You would have more than just a bunch of guys and it would be alot of fun. Otherwise you have guys sleeping on the floor and god knows where and coming and going at all hours. Also not enough showers and toilets for everyone even in a huge suite.

And I need to stay near the budget :) Just called on Celebrity Suite-about $850 after tax. Looks good, but we would need extra rooms (as suite is only 1300 ft2) bringing cost up too much I think.

12 guys in one room for $1200 might be really difficult. I think you may want to look more at a central "party suite" where the bachelor could stay.

We've crammed way more than 12 people into a party in the Tower Suites and Hospitality Suites at Mirage as well as the Marquee Suites and Terrace Suites at MGM Grand.

Here's an example from the 800sqft terrace for the Terrace Suite at MGM

Didn't know they wanted to sleep on the floors... Them boys ain't right...

Sure. A lot of it depends on how the guys are. We used to always share beds like it was a given, I doubt we could do it any more though. But if they're willing to sleep on floors they're probably willing to share beds, so that covers 6 people right there (3 beds). Plus they can get one or two cots which hold 1 person each (and they are really really comfortable) and someone can sleep on the couch. So they don't even need to use the floor.

But one thing I can tell you from experience is the suites will get filled up with a ton of crap. At least 9 suitcases and whatever else they have, it takes up a lot of room all over the floors in the bedrooms. I remember having to walk through an obstacle course every time I wanted to get to the bed when we did that.

Did that guy in the back on the railing make it through the night? I have been in the Terrace suite and it would be awesome. Guys could even sleep on the Terrace in July. But, it's going to run $150/nt/person.

LOL! You guys have been great with the suggestions. I prefer to stay at MGM Props as I wont be caring about my ADT (CET and Venetian for me these days), but I can still get them a good discount through my hosts. I just built up my relationship with CET, so if I book there I will spend the entire weekend gambling to cover the comp , 14 hrs/day.... (60 hands BJ/hour x $200/hand x .015 HA x .4 comp= about 14 hrs at tables per day to cover $2000 comp). Even so, if CET fits, let's hear it!

Any other thoughts on places? Any advantages/disadvantages for MGM Skyline vs Aria 2 br Penthouse?

your budget is way to low.

book seperate rooms and one party room is the only way to go .look for a cheap place on the strip or off.or may i suggest going to reno there giving that town away now

rember the linq will be up so rates will be more on the cheaper end strip places by then.

why not just move into ogs for 2 days with your luggage , no hotel need problem solved

Thanks... didn't see the dates in the other post and yep, under my scenario, some fellas were gonna be on a couch(s). Could cut cards for the beds!

Celebrity Suite isn't worth $850... I've been upgraded to one of them on several occasions and they're just a really big room.
