What Do I Do With This Bunion ?...WOW !!!!

I just got a "Tailor" bunion on my left, little toe -
this Autumn.
I can remember my grandmother "Hattie" -
complaining about her bunions.
This is the first bunion I've ever had --
and DAMN !!!...it friggin' hurts almost every step I take !

I looked it up "on line" ...and so far, I'm not seeing ANY
good news about these things.
It seems - they NEVER go away......am I correct about this ?
I guess I'm somewhat lucky - in that, it's NOT on my
big toe....or causing "Hammer Toe".

I can't believe how PAINFUL this little thing is !!

I'm concerned that I won't be able to continue to walk
while playing golf this spring ---- and because of golf --
I'm considering DRASTIC action, now ( surgery )---- so it would
be healed by golf season.

Is surgery always successful ?
Does a "Tailor" bunion require surgery or is this an over reaction ?

My wife also has a tailors bunion that really gives her problems. She got, FootSmart Bunionette Shields, online. They have worked for her. She did get golf shoes that are wider then her normal shoes. Hope this helps.

sox --- to allow my feet/toes to expand properly.

I think we need to see this bad boy. You got any pictures? I think we could give better advice with a few pictures. We won't lose respect for you and you know there's medical types on the board.

It's inflamation between two bones - in the joint.
Can't cut it off.
It ain't a corn or callous. ( sp?)
