Took my wife into caesars diamond lounge in Vegas last weekend. As a diamond card holder I know I can bring 1 guest. In march, I'm taking 2 friends to Vegas. Anyone have any experience or success in getting 2 guests w them? Can I pay to have a 2nd person in? Just want a drink or 2 before dinner one night. Thanks for any help or info!

    Not true.
Five different times over the past 3 years, I have asked to bring in a 3rd guest into a DL. Each time, they called the host on duty and approved it.
It was actually pretty easy each time.

    And its...they're not "there" .......jeez

Didn't realize there was a limit. I've brought two in a couple times last trip without question. Although my wife is also diamond, I only showed my card to bring her and her mother in.

Go in with one guest, stay 5 minutes, leave alone, return 10 minutes later with another guest.

Yea, the people checking you in are stupid.... LOL!

Yes, that could work. But I think they would realize it and just let it go.

I don't have a diamond card myself (I'm strictly an MGM player), but my friend and her husband took me in as a guest last year to the PHo lounge. They wound up eventually approving it, but as has been mentioned, it's a whole thing where they have to call down to the host office. Though my friend said they usually don't have a problem, they've been denied a second guest on some occasions.

I think you'd have better luck trying one of the lounges that aren't so busy. The one at Caesars often has a line up to get in. Or at least try after 6:00 when the hot food is done. Good luck!

ive watch people get into arguments all the time trying to bring more than one person.

of course a host can do anything they want but you cant the rule is one guest

Why not call your host ahead of time and let them know you want to bring some extra guests? Maybe they can pre-approve somehow. That's what hosts are for!

belive or not most people dont have hosts even at diamond level.

you can usualy walk in and ask a host on duty but depending on your level of play do you realy want blow a favor on the diamond lounge for a feee drink when you get all you want on the casino floor

but her original question was if she can pay for an extra guest and the answer is no

I'll believe it, even if it hurts my brain a bit.

Still, I'm a strong believer in "If you want something, ask for it." Just ask the right person. The worst that can happen is they will say no.

when you walk in, look for someone walking in alone.

I know that when I've seen people with two guests, I volunteer and say that one of them can come in with me.

Me, probably not. I don't like to do casino bars. Like you said, plenty to drink on the casino floor. That isn't really about choosing one comp over another, I just don't want to do that. I don't mind paying for what I want, but in this specific case, IF I did want it, there is no way to directly pay for it (I paid for it on the floor), so I'd ask Host/VIP services.

Wife, Yes. She's always dragging me into bars and VIP lounges. She likes to get off the floor for a bit. Add in showing some friends a good time and that's a definitely, Yes.

    Different people have different priorities.

You could also hand the nice lady who greets you at the entrance a $10 spot while asking her "I hope bringing an extra guest isn't going to be a problem". I bet there's no problem at all.

Oddly enough a Seven Stars member can bring up to 4 people (used to be unlimited) into a Seven Stars Lounge, but walk over to the Diamond Lounge at the same property and flash your 7* card and you are restricted to only one guest. Had this happen to me last year when our party of four couldn't get seating in the Seven Stars Lounge at Harrahs AC. A bit ridiculous.

I remeber a long time ago before ballys in ac re-did their lounge which i believe was before it was called diamond lounge (im thinking 2001-2003) I used to bring in 4-6 ppl at a time no problem. There was this 1 waiter I used to always request/sit in his area if possible for service and he was the best. Always remembered me and my wifes name etc.

I understand what you are saying paperposter but I dont really think this would be a huge favor or even come out of comps. And i understand that everyone can get free drinks on the casino floor but it is nice to have a nice bar, seating/lounge section for drinks without gambling.

One year when minnesota (favre as qb) was playing in the nfc championship game, my wife and i couldnt find a bar to watch the game at. So we went to caesars palace diamond lounge to watch it and we had basically our own tv across from the bar to the left of when you walk in. There really are nice perks to it wheter or not it being a favor for extra ppl coming in etc.
