I don't land in Vegas until 2 hours prekickoff Super Bowl Sunday, I figure I won't hit TI where my Big Game party is until an hour pre kick. Can you still realistically get through the sports book line at that time or is it hopeless? This is my first Vegas Super Bowl and I'm a lifelong Denver fan, I figure prop bets is what make the game more run regardless of actual score. I figure making the bets ahead of time is not possible, any insight is greatly appreciated

Fellow lifelong bronco fan here and will also be in vegas. It will be a zoo to put in bets a couple hours before kickoff. My reccomendation is to maybe have your transportation from the airport maybe take you to a smaller off strip casino. But honestly do not know how busy they will be either.

How long would it take to setup an account at one of the Cantor locations? Once the account is established you can make bets using your own smartphone.

Yeah the lines are insane at the books that close to kick.

However your saving grace may be if TI sets up little satellite windows. I recall a few years ago at Bally's they had two betting stations set up close to the main casino floor to help alleviate the lines at the main book.

So perhaps you can call TI to see if they will do the same? Or maybe identify a place that will and have the cabbie take you there before you check in?

If you received an invite to the casino party, ask your host, or any host if you don't have one, if they will have a betting station inside the event. Many of the casino's have betting stations set up in the viewing room that are reserved for invited guests only. Saves a ton of time not having to use the main sports book. Good luck

I am not invited to the casino party so it would have been either fighting at the main windows or praying for a satellite one (I will ask TI). I am intrigued by the idea of a local joint since I will be picking up a car (express checkout rental so no line), anyone know a casino between the airport and TI that would be lower key?

How does the Cantor smartphone betting work?

    Thanks to all, really helpful

In reality I think you'll be fighting the same line to setup the Cantor account , you might want to contact them to see if there's a way to fast track the account setup. And BTW, you need to go to one of the books that Cantor operates; Venetian, M Resort, Tropicana, Silverton, Palms, Hard Rock, Cosmo.

Your insight led me to find William Hill's app which has books in smaller off strip casinos and they let me fill out the forms ahead of time online. They have Tuscany, Silver Seven, Westin, Ellis which are all near each other. Of those, which would be least likely to have a packed house an hour pregame? I figure I can drop the form/deposit and make some obvious props there, adding more via app end route to party.

I think that's a better idea... I have the Cantor app and use it all the time, but have friends with the William Hill app/account and can tell you the WH is preferable... more prop bets and no where near as clunky.

Too bad you can't pre-fund the account so you can start betting from the landing strip.

I think the only downside to the on-line account is you have to go back to one of those casinos to collect. good luck
