    My Trip Report

I just return from a fun Las Vegas trip for our Wedding Anniversary. With the help from site member 'feadolphus' (who happens to be the 'Executive Casino Host' for the 'Plaza Casino').My wife and I stayed their this past Sat night and sunday night Jan 18-20 2014 .
When we arrived,we were lucky enough to personally meet feadolphus at the front registration desk, who goes by Curtis there.Very friendly nice 'Navy' man.He made sure my wife and I had all our plans set for our wedding Anniversary trip.Even helps us with a very kool room upgrade and much more surprises! :) .

We had not been in las Vegas in many years,so things sure had changed for the better. We were very impressed with the friendly staff at the Plaza Casino the entire time we stayed.Even the food was great from the pizza, sandwiches to the great Steaks and seafood at famous 'Oscar's Steak house' overlooking the Fremont street with many lights in the evening.

My wife and I had a Super time and will return again.I am actually a site owner to a veterans site and have already recommended Curtis and his outstanding 'Plaza Casino' staff to all my web Site members.I highly recommend the 'Plaza Hotel Casino' for your next trip!.If you don't ask 'feadolphus' for help, you are making a huge mistake! ... Seriously

Thank you 'feadolphus' (Curtis) for a very memorable Las Vegas Wedding Anniversary trip.

    Sincerely

Hottwhls ( Ernest & Marsha C ... Moreno Valley Calif)

    Congratulations on a fun trip.

I will arrive in downtown Las Vegas Thursday, and the first place I am going to eat is Pop Up Pizza. Love the Fremont style!

    Thanks for the report!

Hello Robert M.My wife and I had a excellent time and won both of our NFL football sports bets.We bet that both the Broncos and the Seahawks would not only win but cover thier point spread...and we were right!!.

But seriously if you are going there, give Curtis a call at the Plaza Casino. The front desk will know who he is right away.He is in fact the Senior Casino Host of marketing there. He will make sure you have a great time.Tell Curt Ernest C sent ya!..He'll know who your talking about right away!

Curt is also a Navy Vet and I am a 3rd Armor Army Veteran :)

Robert it's nice meeting you and hope you have a great time!.Let us know how your trip went.

    Take care!

I'm as guilty as anyone about having a negative opinion of the Plaza, so I'm very glad you had a great time and were taken care of.

Maybe Curtis is taking a proactive stance to try and change things. I hope it works.

Hello Joe...my wife and I sure had a great time in Vegas. My wife and I are in our mid 50's now and had not been in Vegas in years. But from the first step into the Plaza till when it was time to leave,we were taken care of and were given many tips of fun things to do.

feadolphus (Member name here) or his real first name is 'Curt' (Executive Casino Host) at the 'Plaza' was easy to reach at the front desk.

I highly recommend 'The Plaza Hotel and Casino' for anyone here.We will return when we get another chance.

I've even taken it another step and recommended the 'Plaza Casino' to all my Veteran Site members.I am a site owner of a site for all Military Veterans,Family and friends.

    Have a great day!

Thank you hottwhls for the great review. We as a team are working very hard to bring new light to the Plaza and Vegas Club. :) With great people as yourself willing to give us a try we believe we can make our properties competitve with other properties as well as offering an atmosphere everyone would love to be a part of. :)

Hello 'Uli' and 'UKFanantic' ...yes no kidding...After the first quarter of the Broncos Patriots Football game and leaving a few tips of course...our bartender was cool enough give us some free drinks. We were being given a few Cinnamon whiskey shots among with our beer orders at the bar near the Sportsbook.I forget the name for the Shot drink?.The Free drinks explains why I can't remember the darn shot drink name for the life of me.

But in all seriousness,My wife and I had the Best Wedding anniversary in Las Vegas at the Plaza. My wife and I intent to return when we can soon!

Five Star Fun! >> *** Highly recommend 'The Plaza Casino' ***

They should change their Casino Name to "Fun Central"

"Thanks to Curt (Executive Casino Host) and to the entire Plaza Staff"

Sincerely (Ernest & Marsha C .. Moreno Valley Calif)

What a nice, refreshing post... not pre-occupied with paytables, or angry cause he didn't get absolutely everything for free and no mention of other patrons he didn't like. They had FUN!!! Whooo-hoooo bud... thanks for the reminder!

Awesome that you had a great trip. We love staying downtown and although you might not know it from my avatar or countdown clock, we are big fans of the GN. ;)

But with posts like yours and other extolling the virtues of other downtown properties, I'm starting to wonder if we're not cheating ourselves by not shopping around a bit. Sounds like the staff at the Plaza really went out of their way to make you guys feel appreciated. In my mind, that goes a long way in making a stay more enjoyable.

    Thanks for posting!

You sound like a good host who goes the extra mile to help your guests. As far as the part about being competitive goes, why cant/dont you offer the same odds/playing conditions that your neighbors right next door or across the street do?

I used to stay at the plaza all the time, it's so sad now when I venture in wanting to play and leave disappointed, I want to try my luck at every place, I really do, and i dont always play the best game either, lots of times I'll play a bar top even if there's a better game a few feet away(for the atmosphere), but I need at least the option of a good game available. The way I look at it, if you cant give even a few customers in your casino the same game they have all over the place right next door, then you dont deserve my business. And the same goes for blackjack, continuous shufflers at empty tables makes no sense, give me a reason to play and I'll have a reason to stay.
