MyVegas aria hotel comps

    is the weekend comp (over 400,000LP) worth it? or should i use my points somewhere else?

    I'd look at the cash price and compare it to other comps you might want.

    Sounds a little steep based on average LP value

    I concur. Based on the items I’ve reviewed in detail (shows, buffets, hotels) it looks like every 1,000 loyalty points is generally worth between $1 and $2 in actual retail value –assuming full non-discounted prices. For example, Zarkana tickets retail for $99 and require 49,500 points, which is closer to the $2 end. Of course you may get a far better (or worse) deal with other redemptions. For Aria, $400 to $800 a night seems pretty steep if you were to pay cash, so 400,000 LP’s sounds way out of line to me. But if you have millions of LP’s laying around and want to save some bucks, might as well go for it.
