I have one night at Luxor and two at mirage via myvegas. Do they require you to have your physical mlife card upon check in?
As far as I know its required. Well, they ask for it upon check in at least. As long as you have opened an Mlife account, before you check in, just go to the nearest Mlife concierge and get a card. It only takes a few moments. They give you the card on the spot.
I would assume they could look your card up in the system and verify it is you by your photo ID. Having never done a hotel reward though I'm not 100% certain. I just know I've been able to checkin before using MLife comps and a card wasn't required. I'm with Tuck though and if the line at the players club is short, just go get a card. I assume you will be gambling so you will want this anyway.
I don't recall being asked for my mLife card at check-in at Mirage when I redeemed the room rewards for there. But it may not hurt to have it handy.
I have redeemed myvegas rooms at NYNY and Monte Carlo - both places asked for MLife card at check in. If you do not have your card, just go to the players club desk when you first get there and get a copy made.
You should alway present your MLife card upon check in anyway, because the MGM Resorts reservation system is not exactly on the ball - even at the invited guests check in at Aria, when I have checked in on an offer (where they obviously have my MLife number) I find that I still have to make sure to ask them to link my Mlife number to my reservation.
The mLife desk at Luxor is between the front desk and the inclinators, across from the Starbucks in the lobby. Three minute walk at most.
You're welcome. And I think at Mirage, you walk in the front entrance and wrap around to the right-hand side into the casino to get to the mLife desk. But don't quote me.
I will be at Luxor first so it works out. Only concern is when I signed up for mlife online it did not find me in the system and I know I had their past rewards card. Hope they attach the right card number to me that I used on my vegas.
