Saw rave reviews on Vital Vegas about this new walk up pizza joint by Pinks at PH. Anyone tried it yet? Wondering too if they accept TR comps....

Was there on opening day. They had a huge staff running pizza across the counter. The slices are GIANT. Probably the biggest slice I have ever seen. The pizzas themselves are maybe 36" in diameter. But, you can only buy slices.

Now, for the pizza. There are many different pizzas available with all kinds of toppings. They do a nice job of heating the pizza to the point where the crust is crisp and the cheese is bubbling. They don't take it out after a few seconds like Sbaro. And yes, it is way better than Sbaro. But, I did not think it was great. For me, NYNY, Secret, and that place behind Wynn are all better. We did have Pin Up 3x...why? Because it is a great filler at 2am after a long night of gambling/drinking. Prices were reasonable too...$5.50 for cheese, $6 for most others.

As someone who lives in NJ, I have a strict No eating Pizza outside of NJ rule. For some reason, people outside of NJ have no clue how to make a pizza. I would avoid it at all costs.

Pizza is like sex. It's better on the strip sidewalk than down a dark hallway, behind an unmarked door.

Exactly. So, if you are at PH, Elara, Paris, Marriott, or Polo then it is the best option.

I was waiting for a response like this one. I am from (insert city) and we have the best (insert food here). Nobody else knows good (insert food) until they have tried (insert food) from (city here). :poke:

I truly don't think that there is any one area (state or city) that will ever have the "best" pizza to suit everyone ... it's all way too objective.

We live in a suburb of Chicago, which many, many people think is all "Chicago-style" pizza. Trust me ... there is no blanket type offering everywhere. There are pizza places we love, and there are pizza places that we hate ... all in the same towns ... they all make them differently, and sometimes even in a "sister property" just a few miles away.

I would never try to tell someone what pizza property, or city, or state, is the best. Find the one(s) that YOU like best, and enjoy .... :licklips:
