I have a question that is somewhat related.....not trying to hijack thread, but seems as though u guys know this W2 stuff (I'm from Canada and don't have to worry about it here)!

If I'm playing VP or a slot machine and I get a hit for $1199t, and then a few spins/deals later I get another $1199, when I go to cash out will that trigger a W2, or only single hits/deals trigger a W2?

I am not a slot player but my guess is no. You have to hit for $1200 or more for a W2G

No it has to be one hit for $1200 or over. You can hit $1000 3 times and go cash out the ticket for $3000 without a W2g.

But on a slot machine, if you get a a free spin bonus and all the wins on the spins in the bonus add up to over $1199 then that bonus round counts as 1 win and will result in a W2g

A single jackpot over $1,199 triggers the W2G. Multiple hands adding up to over $1,199 do not matter. Where I play the most, any time the credits go over $1,199, it spits out a ticket for the amount over $1,199.

On multiplay games 3x, 5x etc they count as one hand if they are over $1,199. If they are under $1,199 but add up to over $1,199, I ASSUME, that would trigger a W2G, since multiplay is treated as one hand. But I'm not sure?

The other posts are correct regarding slots. It's $1200 or more on a single 'spin', which would include a set of bonus/free spins or one 'spin' on multiple-hand VP.

At table games, you have to win at least $600 and the odds must be 300 to 1 or higher. Both conditions must be true. So when I won $10,000 at Mississippi Stud with 4OAK ($250 * 40), no W2G because the odds were not more than 300 to 1.
