I have a comp room at Downtown Grand this weekend. I got an email from Choice Hotels (DTG is affiliated with them) titled "Your upcoming Downtown Grand Hotel & Casino....". It listed prices for my stay, which to my dismay, did not say "$0 and thank you very much" but $230 + resort fees.

I called DTG this afternoon and they said not to worry, it was some glitch and it was just today.

Thought I would mention this in case anyone else got this, no need to freak out.

Odd, I have a comp also at DTG. I called the hotel direct to book it and received the confirmation email directly from them, not Choice.

I booked direct with them, received the confirmation direct from them back when I booked it. This new email was out of the blue.

Same thing here. I asked for an email confirmation when I booked, but never got one. Today I got the Choice Hotels confirmation email showing regular pricing, so I called to confirm. They show me comped for 2 nights, and said they would send a new email. I couldn't get a firm answer whether I would be charged the resort fee or not.

jeez, 3 guys, 3 different experiences.

Jason- when i got the confirmation email direct from DTG (the accurate email) the sender specifically called out that resort fee was comped, since the price on the confirmation was "$ + 11 resort fee". I believe Joe mentioned on another thread that he is on a different offer, and he is getting charged resort fees. Weird that they can't tell you specifically about your offer!
