So I recently downloaded the Venetian property app to my smartphone in preparation for an upcoming trip. In reviewing the app it shows a unisex bathroom. I'll have to investigate to see how that works. Do any other casino's have unisex bathrooms?

I can't answer your question but way back when I worked on the road I was somewhere in Europe, I am thinking France.

Anyway I had to go for a pee, I go in and am relieving myself when a very very attractive woman comes in.

At first I was all WTF, then I was well Europe is progressive and kinda cool.

Well I felt the latter until she (he) or whatever the PC term is stepped up to the urinal one over from me, whipped it out and had a piss.

That one instance right there made me question the whole unisex thing.

Don't get me wrong as I am not looking for a bathroom hookup and I realize that people are gaining new "rights" daily but that messed with my mind for a day or so.

There are and I don't know where they are all but don't get too excited. Some are just more like family bathrooms so that adults who need assistance can go in with a caregiver of the opposite gender. Others are in trendier clubs and nightclubs.

Unisex bathrooms in America are single bathrooms that lock-out the outside.

    See: handicapped bathrooms

If memory serves the Hard Rock Casino in Biloxi has a semi Unisex bathroom
where the sinks and mirrors are in a "common" area for all sexes. Kind of weird.

The thing about the Men's Room is, that's where all the dicks hang out.

A lot of the hipper clubs and lounges here have unisex or quasi-unisex bathrooms. The latter meaning you all enter the same big bathroom but one side is female and one side is male, but its all pretty open and the sinks and sometimes even lounging areas are in the middle and shared. They're like spots people hang out.

These are the best restrooms to use. Some people call them the family restroom. Like if you had a little one with you you couldnt leave unattended.

single holer with locking door. like your own private bathroom. i always use them if they are available.

The term unisex makes it sounds way sexier than it really is.

Act nightclub in the Venetian/Palazzo had true unisex restrooms before it closed.

I can see this being scintillating to a 12-year-old male.

I am uniformly opposed to unisex bathrooms on the same condition I oppose the "Open Door Dump" that people in open relationships sometimes do.

There are somethings I just don't want to know or experience first hand about another individual and risk ruining the magic.

They are invaluable with a small child. There were some uncomfortable sitautions when my daughter was young and I was out by myself with her.

Do you park in handicapped spots too?

You sound like you're proud that you use family restrooms for yourself as a solo middle aged man.

This is why you can't trust the public to act responsibly. There are always people who don't care about anything other than what they want.

And all unisex bathrooms are not family bathrooms. Some clubs have unisex bathrooms. Family bathrooms are usually labeled as family bathrooms.

The Todd English Pub bathroom by the Aria has also has a shared sink and mirror area complete with a towel girl. I thought I went into the wrong bathroom at first. There are doors inside that area that hide the men's and woman's sets of toilets.

I even warned my husband about it but had momentary doubts he was in the wrong place when he seen women touching up their hair and makeup when he walked into the bathroom.

I made the women's room at the D a unisex bathroom when I walked into it by accident after way too many beers. Lucky for me I was alone and only got dirty looks when coming out of it.

In my defense, the mens and women's room do share a common entrance before splitting off..

I don't know what the problem is. Most unisex bathrooms in Europe have privacy for everything except hand washing facilities. I have been in countless places that have a urinal and toilet in the same room, but they have had a locking door between you and the other clientele.

The communal part has been the hand washing section, and I'm continually horrified by the amount of people who miss out this vital step.

That is far worse than sharing a bathroom. Just my opinion.

That might work in Europe but Americans are more uptight.

Also unisex bathrooms alleviate "issues" that have arisen regarding the transgender community from opposing sides.

Overall, they are good to have for multiple reasons....handicapped, transgender, family, etc....
