I see that Travelzoo is offering up deals at a few restaurants that I thought looked interesting for my trip coming up in April, but since I have not dined at these restaurants, I was hoping for some assistance.

    Alize @ Palms $99 - 3 course prix-fixe for 2

    Andre's @ Monte Carlo $99 - 3 course prix-fixe for 2 + 2 drinks

    Simon @ Palms Place $99 - 4 course prix-fixe for 2 + 2 drinks

I was thinking Alize or Andre's, what are your thoughts?

Thanks in advance! :nworthy:  :drunk:

Not sure if it matters to you, but Andre's is the only restaurant on the strip.

We will have a car for a few days while out there, so being off strip isn't an issue to us.

We did the Andre's Travelzoo offer about a year ago. I felt it was worthwhile as it gave us a taste of this restaurant (loved the French onion soup).

Check the Andre's website to see their décor; a bit old fashioned and stiff, but beautiful.

As we're not used to this type of restaurant, we found the constant hovering of the wait staff a bit uncomfortable.

Worth the reasonable Travelzoo offer. I love to try different restaurants. Andre's has been there for 25+ years.

I had one experience at Simon and it was disastrous.

Alize has stellar views and Andre's is cozy. Food should be similar, but based on my experiences I prefer Andre's. I've done the travelzoo offer there it was a nice meal but sadly it wasn't at the same level as prior "off the menu" experiences. It was more routine. Usually, they go out of their way to make us feel special.

I did travelzoo Simon's before. It was good and included entry to all the Palm's clubs. They bought us sushi in the middle of the meal for kicks.

I've used them a lot. I've had one of the best meals of my life there, several good ones, and only one bad one.

After some investigation into these deals I may skip the travelzoo prixe fixe at these places. I'm thinking the Charlie Palmer cut of the week deal sounds good! There are so many amazing places I want to try and I've already been there 6 times since turning 21... I love vegas.
