Plaza Offers...

Has anyone seen an email or regular mail offer from the Plaza lately? I usually get one around this time or before but I haven't seen anything since the late summer early fall!

 

Got one (a mailer) for January dates.
I'll be calling them today or tomorrow to see if they'll let me have those 4-nights in March.

 

Got a mailer for 4 nights in Jan....Using two nights of it for mid Jan...

When did u all receive them? I haven't got mail since the snow hit us, so if its been the last 4-5 days, I'm sure I haven't got it, not to mention we moved in August as well. Feadolphus, I sent you a message, let me know when it's a good time to call you.

@mraudit yes for my casino because we do care what our guests think and may want to make our guests continue to come to our hotel and casinos.

 

Wow, nice to see you here helping members out. I myself have never been to the Plaza but I will make it a point to stop in on my next trip.

Its good to see... as long as people don't abuse the fact that they have a direct contact on here and start acting all entitled and demanding the world!!.

I'm staying at the Plaza in march for a few nights - looking forward to the New Beir place being open - hopefully

 

One very-sincere suggestion:
y'all have a two-deck shoe game that allows double-after-split (DAS).
This one table is only sporadically open, and when it is raised to a $25 minimum, is often empty.

I'd like to suggest keeping at least one such table open at all times & at $10 minimums.

Staffing it should not be an issue, as there is always a blackjack table open at the Plaza. Just make that "always open" table the 2-deck shoe.

One other suggestion that I think would improve your 'customer-flow' - convert the area just inside the front-doors so that some table-games and a few slots are right there. Perhaps one small pit (with BJ, 3-card poker & UTH), along with a crap table.
The visibility of your gaming is currently zilch, until one walks a ways into the property. Take a look at all of your downtown competitors. There is gaming very visible within a few steps of walking into each of them.
Perhaps locate your registration desk somewhere else - maybe where the McDonald's & other fast-food places are currently located.

If you can do it, a covered walkway across Main to/from FSE would also improve the attractiveness of the property to non-guests.

Feadolphus!!! I like it. I am glad you are looking at what your guest and others are saying. When I was out in October I did not stay there, but enjoyed the heck out of your Sports book Saturday and Sunday. Very nice writers and you had some good deals at your bar.

first visit

staying downtown for the first time in years. Decided to book the Plaza and see how it rates since the room remodel. Have a bit of apprehension from some of the postings I have read. Hoping it goes smoothly and we will have a good time I am sure. Coming for the super bowl. stayin at the plaza on thurs-friday then moving to the strip the next 5 nights.
