MGM, NYNY, or MC on a Monday Night

Hi All,

I've myVegas/mLife points to burn before my convention starts. Lucky me, it will be a Monday in late April. What can you tell me about these three choices on a Monday night: MGM Grand, NYNY, or Monte Carlo? What is the vibe in the casino? Nightlife vibe? Good environment for 30s-40s singles? Friendly environment for solo business travelers?

I know Monday can be rather dull in general, but I really wouldn't mind partying up a bit before the convention.

I don't think there is anything particular about Monday nights that makes these hotels better or worse than any other day of the week. Not really sure what you're looking for, but if it is nightlife for people in the age rage you mention, I would probably go with MGM or NYNY. MGM has the mega club for the younger crowd, but there are plenty of other lounges and bars for the older set.

 

I agree with everything in this post. I would lean toward MGM over NYNY.

 

I would just hit the round bar in the center of the Casino in NYNY and see where the night took me. I have had some very fun nights beginning there!

 

The pedestrian bridge makes going from MGM to NYNY very easy. So, all other things being equal I would stay at MGM since I like the rooms better.

 

MC is by far the most laid back. No real club there unless you count Diablos which I don't. I like gambling at MC as it's not usually too slammed but just enough action to not feel dead.

Though if you're getting a room for free I'd pick NyNy over MC any day. I assume MGM is nicer but I haven't stayed there when I was a wee lad back when Vegas tried the family thing and I was 12. Haha
