    Hey Everyone,

Just recently we decided to cash in our MyVegas offers and received 5 nights in total, but we're looking to add on a 6th night.

We're wondering if anyone had suggestions on how to get the best rate for the one night?? Are we stuck booking directly with the hotel due to the comp nights or could we actually look on priceline then ask them to link it??

MyVegas nights were the 23rd to the 28th of March (Checking out on the 28th) and we're debating whether or not to purchase the night for the 22nd or the 28th. Regardless of which one we choose, I think they're both considered weekend room rates.

Any suggestions would be great!! :)

Casino rates tend to be the best unless Mirage/MGM has a special promotion going on. Since most of the promotions require a two-night minimum it might be best to contact mLife and see what rate they can get you.

Start out by pulling up their rate calendar online. One date or the other might be way better than the other.

You did not mention your "offers", but if one is 2 days and one is 3 days, maybe book them on each end, and the paid day in the middle?

I really wished we could've done that but sadly everything was weekdays. Basically we redeemed 3 - "$42 Nights" and 2 - Bonus Weekday Comps. So we need to either pay for a Saturday night or a Friday night depending on when we want to leave. So far it looks like Friday (28th) since it's only $150ish where as Saturday (22nd) it's like over $200.

I'm just wondering if I should go to Priceline and find a deal, or call mLife or call Mirage. I always assume calling the hotel directly just gets you the most basic price and never any discounts.

Calling is worth a shot. Sometimes the staff is instructed to push "deals" to fill the place up. Other times they are getting full and can only offer regular rates. Worth a call.

Way better than dealing with the unknown like priceline.

Very true. I only realized last night that we booked everything during spring break. At least that's when I think spring break is? lol

There's lots of different spring breaks for various schools. Pretty much any time in March and April will be a spring break for somebody.

Shjf, I also wonder if you will have a harder time connecting the different reservations if you use an aggregator like Priceline.

I'm starting to think that. At least if I call them they can take a look at what type of room I already have then just link another night with the same room.

You can't bid or get Mirage as an Express Deal if that is what you mean.. it doesn't come up (usually not) 4 star North Strip would be TI, 99% chance..

Well, it's not looking cheap. With a promo code the 22nd is $186, the 28th is $160. It's even more money booking with Priceline (non-bidding)...

    https://reservations.mgmmirage.com/bookingengine.aspx?host=promo&pid=160&show=rates&code=MIRGMAILEM&kbid=1162904&sub=ITUDZ!W!MIRGMAILEM!US

Here's the code I used. Personally. I'd call, and ask to add a night. You can always mention the prices you've seen online if it's cheaper than what they quote you. That way they can link you all up. Or if you haven't called and redeemed yet, they will do it right then.

Do you have a Host at Mirage ? That would be the first thing I would do is contact my Host to ask for a night to be added on. Usually if you are playing there it is at no charge, but they will have ti evaluate your play. It is worth it to ask a Host. Next thing I'd do is ask what the Casino rate is for comparison., Hope this may be of some help.
We can't do without our Host. If you don't have one and you stay at Mirage regular get one right away and I can recommend the best.
