http://my.chicagotribune.com/#section/-1/article/p2p-78733765/ Packers announce 15,000 tickets unsold for Sunday's playoff game opcorn
Let me be the first to inform everyone that the packers glory days are over. We all love Lombardi but those days are long past. Same goes with the current team. It will fade into myth and lore within the next couple of seasons. On the bright side maybe some good movies or books or something will come out of it but certainly no real championships.
So, I wanted to go to the game, but its going to be -6 with wind chill. and im also saving for Vegas.. Unless im going to be in an indoor area, f that. and Im as die hard as they come. Also, they will sell em all, Im not worried. GO PACK GO!
I am a season ticket holder. I think I speak for MANY ticket holders when I tell you why I didn't get my tickets this post-season: There was a very slim chance of the Packers making the playoffs. It was actually stated the other day that their statistical odds were 1.5% In the past, the Packer organization would refund my money if the Packers didn't make the playoffs. NOW, they hijack that money to put towards next years ticket package. Excuse me, but I'd rather hold that $700 than let you guys "manage" it for the next six months. I think a much larger amount of ticket holders considered this factor, as well. Now, the big reason there were 15,000 STILL available..........Who in their right mind would think there were ANY tickets available?? They are all sold out, right? Once the word gets out, these tickets will move. After all, there were originally 40,000 unsold seats, so to announce 15,000 were left means quite a few people had their nose to the grindstone.
Go! Pack! Go!.. Packers played SF tough in the beginning of the season in SF... This time it will be at Lambeau and hopefully it will be Lambeau weather.... Nice job on the photo....
Yea, I got them but didn't read the fine print. The "hijack" is spot on. Giving them a $700+ interest free loan for 6 months, sucks! That's a new procedure this year. I have no fear it won't be a sellout. Game time temp is ~23 degrees. That's a heatwave in Jan.:evillaugh
OUCH !!!!! But I guess we deserved it ... the way the Bears literally "gave" the game away (hint, hint ... loose ball laying on the ground). Go Blackhawks !!!
