    Although we only stick to slots, years ago it was worthwhile to join up to multiple Players Clubs, and over 2 weeks we'd usually gain a minimum of 3 buffets each and maybe a t shirt and a small amount of cash. Recent years have been laughable and we are only in Total Rewards for the priority check-in queue and small discounts at the Flamingo restaurants etc.
    I read that for a short time LVH Players Club were offering new members free tickets for Raiding the Rock Vault, can anyone recommend any current reward schemes either on the Strip/Downtown or off-strip? Thanks

    The cosmopolitan $100 loss rebate. You must lose $100 or more though in one gaming day on non-progressive slots and/or video poker. If you lose $100, go to the players' club and get that loss reimbursed in free slot (and/or video poker) play.

    http://www.cosmopolitanlasvegas.com/game/identity_promotions.aspx

    It claims it is only for new members, but I was told by the players' club that every member can claim the $100 loss rebate once in your life. And if you end up winning that day and not becoming eligible for the rebate that day, you can come back and attempt it again the next day as many times as you can until you finally lose $100 and claim the freeplay.

    My g/f racked up about 5 small wins in a row before finally losing $100 on our 2nd trip as members and over roughly 6 gaming days there. I lost my $100 in about 8 minutes on our 1st attempt... :eek: I redeemed $89 from the free slot play and she redeemed $82 from their 100-play poker penny machines.

    It says it expires at the end of January, but they have been extending it month by month for years. Some taxi cabs have the rebate offer painted on them, so I doubt it is going anywhere soon.

    Yes, CET gives us some fairly generous offers. Good room prices and even comp in the slow times.

    Looks like we may squeak by Platinum this year by playing on the same account.

    I'm inferring from your post that you come to Vegas infrequently, and are looking more for rewards that are instant, rather than looking for offers for future visits.

    Have you seen westie's post- https://www.vegasmessageboard.com/forums/showthread.php?t=101247 ? He updates the current new join offers, bonus point days, and special events/ deals.

    I also have used the Cosmo offer before with friends and family. We mostly lose $100 through high volatility slots, then win it all back with the $100 free on VP.

    Tropicana = $200 Loss Rebate
    Cosmo = $100 Loss Rebate
    Plaza/LVC = $100 Loss Rebate

    The rest of the clubs are really worthless to JOIN.
    However, if you intend on PLAYING...then for a Low-Roller Boyd may be your best bet. Then CET, then MLife

    Join all of them. It does not hurt. Many will give you a small amount of free play. My wife has the knack of turning $5 or $10 free slot play into $75 or $100. Also, it gets you into their systems. We constantly get mailers or e-mail offers for free or low priced rooms for casino's that we have not played at for years (and maybe only played the free play at sign-up).

    Based on the OP question, they are already in many clubs????

    Anyways, CET will give rooms if you focus enough play there. If you are strip jumper playng a little at many places, your chances of offers will drop.

    The casino will value you based on your AVERAGE PLAY. Play a little, get a little. Play more, get more. And, at CET is average play PER DAY. Do multiple low play days, they then label you as a player at that average level.
