Remember the old Caesars entrance with the hologram?

Does anyone else remember the old ceasers entrace with the talking halogram? I remember it from the first trip my family took thru Vegas as a kid in our way out west to Disneyland.

Anyone have a photo?

 

I remember the entrance. It was a temporary entrance while the Caesar's mall was being constructed. Just last month I was showing the entrance to my buddy. It was his first time to Vegas, and we walked up into the entrance. It is still open , but now it is a skywalk over the parking area. No more hologram, but you would know where it was inside the entrance structure.

 

Interesting, I don't remember that.

 

Anyone remember the early 1980's entrance that fed directly above the casino floor? I was amazed a how they had the people mover taking you from the Strip.

 

Yep, I remember that. It made a very easy entrance. And if I remember correctly they didn't have a people mover to take people back to the strip.

 

I've been to CP ever since the 70s and I sure don't remember a hologram.

Last year they still had an in-only people mover from approximately across from Harrah's into the casino. Did not see it the latest trip.

 

The hologram was at the very beginning of the moving walkway. There's that room that you go through right at the beginning, that had a small scale replica of Rome complete with roman fighters and chariots moving around. It was all very tiny and it was only in that small room. Also that moving walkway used to have windows to see inside of the Roman dinner theatre show that ended in the early 2000's. Before that the moving walkway took you right up to where the old Omnimax was, in the same location as the current Coliseum.

 

Sounds like part of it might still exist in a back storage room somewhere?

I never got to visit the dinner theater place, but heard it was wild (and what Vegas should be). Wish it was still around.

 

Caesars Magical Empire was cool too while it lasted.

I seem to remember in the late 90's/early 00's that Caesars had a big chinese restaraunt out front with a HUGE fishtank...

 

Yes yes yes that's it! I remember this more about that trip then I do anything else I thought it was so cool! As a 12 year old this was way cooler to me the circus circus and for some reason I remember it as much as the Disney land part of the trip.
