Getting one or the other for dinner buffet from MyVegas which us better? I am staying at the Signature so their both close.
The Mandalay Bay one definitely isn't worth any kind of special trip. It's perfectly serviceable, nothing special.
I agree, MGM is better. Although, nothing special to be honest. It did have really good pizza. Also, I think MGM's breakfast buffet is one of the best one the strip. Highly underrated. They have so much more selection than the other ones.
My wife and I used one of her MyVegas rewards for the MGM Buffet. I must say, we both found it to be very underwhelming. First off, when we went it was totally packed and the line was long. Once inside, the place just felt old and dingy. I haven't been to the buffet at Mandalay Bay in quite some time, but I recall it being average. We usually don't visit Mandalay Bay too often as it's at the far end of the strip, and never seems to be convenient to where we're staying. I would recommend using your MyVegas rewards at the Aria Buffet. It has a great selection, is new, and is well kept.
I went to Mandalay Bay for the dinner buffet and I thought it was pretty good. I had a made to order pasta dish with champagne and cheesecake. The only thing underwhelming was the wait service. Had to constantly call the waitress over for anything. Next time I go, I will sit someplace else.
Wife and I just went to MGM Dinner Buffet on sunday. It was DEAD EMPTY (probably because it was $40 "holiday" pricing) We both thought it was actually better than Mirage Dinner Buffet (the crab was certainly better)
I am going to go opposite here, I was not impressed by the MGM Grand buffet. The best buffet in Vegas, in my opinion, is at Planet Hollywood. Never been to MB's Buffet, so I can't speak to that.
