    • Silverton has a mermaid swim in the aquarium a few times a day on certain days.
    • The Forum Shops at Caesars have a new animatronic show, I believe.
    • The Midway at Circus Circus has all sorts of novelty/acrobat acts every half hour for most of the day.

I've seen all of those above. One I haven't seen but would like to is the Lake of Dreams at Wynn.

Don't forget the light and sound show downtown at the Fremont Experience (still one of my favorites).

I have fond memories of playing slots at Tropicana with a flying trapeze act going on above us. I think they still have shows?

There are also free circus acts at Circus Circus, free lobby aquariums at Mirage and Mandalay Bay, lots of public art at CityCenter, and you can watch/listen to the singing gondeliers at Venetian

You can watch it when you're dining at one of the lakeside restaurants like SW or at a bar like Parasol Down, where you can stand on the terrace and watch. There's no big public viewing area but if you don't want to go into the bar there is an area outside of it where you can watch through the window. Its a nice show but nothing on the scale of the grandeur of his Bellagio fountains. I saw it years ago and have no interest in seeing it again, unlike the fountains which I like to watch on every trip.

If you have the 2014 American Casino Guide book, there is a coupon for the Riviera Comedy Club, for 2 free tickets. Just present the ACG coupon at the door, and 2 people are admitted, no fuss, no muss.

Look for the parasol down bar; here are circular escalators leading down to a nice patio you can watch it from, very cool production, I think they run every hour on the hour. The patio I'm referring to is between SW steakhouse and the Lakeside restaurant so you can also look for signs fro those as well.

I highly recommend the Lake of Dreams show. I was a freeloader and watched it from inside through the glass, next time we're hoping to sit out on the deck and watch it from there.

Big Elvis is great, very entertaining.

I was very surprised by the Midway act we saw last time we were there, it was the group Zuma, Zuma; a bunch of acrobats who were on America's Got Talent. They did an amazing 10-15 minute performance for free.

Off the strip is Ethel M's Chocolate Factory. We were there on a day when no one was working, but it looked like it could be interesting if they had been there. And then there is the Cactus Garden in the back which was a nice little walk.

Freemont Street always has great entertainment. Bands, Dancing DJ's, Dancing Girls, Dancing Freaks. Standing still freaks, Standing still while painted silver freaks. Just plain old freaks. Always a good time. Get you a deep fried twinkie and have a good time.

That was Air-Play. Nothing like having two huge guys holding hands flying over your heads when you were playing slots. That show is long gone. I don't think there are any free shows at the Trop any more.
