Are offers like this for high rollers?

The room offered is one of the penthouse suites according to the post where I found this. Just curious what kind of spending you need to get offers like this?

I have played at Cosmo several times mostly blackjack with about a $250 average. I received an offer giving me the following:

    2 complimentary nights
    50 dining credit
    450 free play

I get just 535 free play and 200 food plus 4 nights.
    My case is weird, though.
I stopped playing 'seriously' in June (due to the unplayable bj conditions and some things that annoyed me)
For like a year or two before that I played slots (10-50 per pull mainly) and blackjack (maybe 300-400 avg).
Even when I was a stronger player, my best free play offer was just 700.
I still get these offers every like two weeks and am using two in January and have two more good for Feb and very early March.
I'd of thought they'd turn me off by now but I'll keep using them until they do.

That's not a High Roller offer, but its a very good offer.

If it helps you in making calculations, my avg. bet the last two trips to Cosmo ranged from $1400 to $2800 and with that they offer me a suite, RFB, and about $3k in promo chips.

Though offers are tied directly to theo/adt - players that get these sort of offers are usually in the top 1-2 tiers as well. I would say that player easily is working with a bankroll of a few thousand per day.

Back when RFB meant so much more, that was awesome. Still not terrible, but when limited to $200 or so... not so much.

Educate me here, because I am not following you. RFB still means something. I still get it all the time. Do you mean it doesn't compare to RFL? Or has the meaning of RFB changed and nobody told me :confused2:

Speaking mostly for MGM casinos here:

In the past (few years+), RFB meant unlimited RFB with very few limits. RFL for awhile meant unlimited in the regular restaurants, but not the "Fine Dining". You could even empty the mini-bar without a charge.

Then, they changed for most about 2 years ago (?) and still used RFB, but it had a daily cap. Trouble is, they did not openly share it for awhile, so you could get surprised if play was not high to get it covered via primary comps. Happen to me at Bellagio - "oh, that is how we do it now". Luckily I had lots of EC's and the amount was not that bad. Most offers now just say $200 a day, or $200 in FB. My offers tend to run $500-$1000 FP, Basic Suites, 2 tickets, and $200-$400 in FB.

Higher rollers still do better of course.

That room isn't necessarily a penthouse, you would need to call to see what level of room is allowed.
