We will be staying at the Stratosphere hotel next weekend and arriving sunday morning around 10 am, which gives us a hour to drop bags off and find a place to take in the game, was hoping someone could help me find a place to watch it in the area of the stratosphere hotel.. maybe with good drink specials thank you.

I believe the Bears / Packers game, on the 29th, begins at noon IN Chicago ... so it will be starting at 10:00 am in Vegas.

For Packer fans cab it over to Rum Runners on Tropicana it's a riot. Brats at half time and before the game there are breakfast specials. Good Bloodies etc. The link Vegas Vic supplied has the details.

One warning get there at least a half hour before game time for a seat.

    YES, YES, and YES.

One caveat, if the Packers win tomorrow vs. Pittsburgh, it is a good chance that the game will be "Flexed" to Sunday night (5:30 PST start).

This might thin out the crowd a bit. "Why, for a big game?" you ask.

I was at Rum Runners for the Packers/Bears game on Monday night in November and was surprised at the relatively light turnout. The bartender said that on Thursday, Sunday and Monday nights, the Packers are known to be on National TV to there is no reason to go out to watch the game.

Also, have the 1/2# burger, and load it up. For $7, it is at least as good as the $15 strip burgers.

Thanks for the info... how far away is Rum Runners from the strip? east or west? I had heard that might be the sunday night game if it determines the division championship, if that ends up be the case then we should be able to watch it just about anywhere.

It's east from the strip I'm guessing about 2 1/2 miles. You can also take the bus, stops right there.

In years past, I don't believe there has been a Sunday night game in Week 17. Has that changed for this season?

I think there is normally one game flexed for primetime, it'll be decided tomorrow dependant upon the SNF game.

There has been a Sunday night game for as long as NBC has had the contract. There typically is NOT a Monday Night game during Week 17 (which is why ESPN gets two games on Monday in Week 1).

The Packers / Bears was moved to late afternoon (1:25 Vegas time). Get to Rum Runners by Noon for a good seat.

Too early? They have 25 oz PBRs for, like, $3. That will help kill some time.

And as long as Jay Cutler starts for the Bears... the Pack his this easy-peasy.
