    Hey Now!
    Anybody tried it lately?
    How was the speed?
I'm assuming it's included in the room comp.

I don't know about Orleans, but at MSS, another Boyd property, they refuse to include the WiFi with a comped room.

    Hey Now!!!!

I can't seem to find any good info regarding this. When they increased the resort fee, it was supposed to be included.

the increased resort fee does include wifi. Its not the fastest and an upgrade is available but I found it fine for what I needed.I booked at the time of the lower resort fee and I had a choice the lower fee and no wifi or the higher one and included wifi. (i also asked to make sure my room was one with a good connection - it was :) )

    Orleans wifi

It's OK for email but if you need to stream video or download large files, pay for the $10 a day upgrade. Yes, $10 a day on top of the $9.99 resort fee. I was there for a week, then a week at Monte Carlo which gave me one of the worst WiFi connections ever in a hotel. During my one week there I set up a personal hotspot on my iPhone. This was the 29th floor. My buddy on the 11th had no signal but he carries a dlink with him so he set up his own wireless. Better hotel room but when you're there on business...:Þ

    Hey Now!!!!

    Thanks for the info....
I really only wanted to not have to carry the laptop down to Jittery Vegas. I will be uploading small files and hopefully providing a semi- live TR. I have a smartless phone, so no interweb there...

    Bruce,
If you're staying on a comp, no wifi for free (although if you ask your host she MAAAY comp it off your bill...)

    Hey Now!

    Tim,
Tammy is pretty good to us, but I don't know if it's worth using potential comp capital on that. I really like getting away from the inter web in Vegas.
