    My Trip Report

It's been a while since I've done one of these reports but I owe you all one as your reports often get me through the day back home. I will post the report via posts on at least a daily basis. It will be me and my wife for 5 days at the Palazzo, then solo the last 3 at the Wynn.
We left the house around 4am, to catch Air Canada to Vegas via Toronto. Easy flights, the Vegas leg was on Rouge. Quick tip, download the Air Canada app so you can use their in flight wifi and watch their small stable of movies on your device. They rent iPads out at $10 a pop or you're stuck watching the old style screens if you don't.
It's still a thrill landing here after so many visits, seeing the strip, knowing I will be there soon.*
Baggage was easy, as was the bus to the car rental facility. I rented a full size car for about $18/day from Dollar. Service was sllllllloooooooow but once it was my turn and 6 no's to their up sells and we we are in some Chevy product and on our way.*
We drop in to the Whole Foods on the way to the strip, pick up champagne, Heineken and water. A short drive via Koval and we finally arrive! Wooohooo! First things first, pop the caps on a couple of heinekens, put a couple in my wife's bag and we are rocking! I check in at the invited guests, takes all of about 5 minutes and we are on the 30th floor with a view of the strip. I did get offered an upgrade to a sienna suite for $125/night. That seems like a good deal but the palazzo suites are perfect for us just the way they are.

Time to gamble! I have $1000 to play with today, mostly slot action. I start with the new Ferris Bueller, lots of fun, frequent bonuses and our first waitress of the day starts the Heineken flowing for real. No real wins, time to see what else is new. I find the new Yahtzee and play max bet for a while. I get in the bonus, get Yahtzee, a chance or the golden dice, but miss. I get $60 for the yatzee but only another $11 for the next 50 spins. I'm soo pissed off!

Oh we'll, that's the life of a gambler. On to the next slot. I play lots of them, lose some, win some. We decide to go to the Venetian, and play a progressive with a piggybank. I keep max betting, waiting to hit, then POW, the piggy bank is whole again. I didn't realize it was a shared progressive, and I'm a total loser!*
We play many more slots, then my wife is done! Off to bed for her by about 6pm. Fair enough, 10pm home time and almost no sleep. I keep going and manage to lose $600 in the first day. Not good. Not good at all!

Good luck on your trip and have fun!

We played the Ferris Bueller slot at Palazzo a couple weeks ago and had some good luck with it. Also the LOTR slots at Palazzo kept my husband ahead for the trip, but unfortunately couldn't make up for my steady losses. ;)

My wife is getting hammered on the slots today. I started with a massive loss, crazy chasing bonuses and mini progressives. I couldn't hit anything! Then I got dealt quad aces, on some kind of triple play poker game where you have a pie bonus. Anyway, $923 hit but still down. I put all my football bets down, geez, I gotta hit something. Kansas lost in basketball, another $70 loss. I'm on tilt! Back in the room reloading. Phone won't work either, so I can't post any pics. I hope to have that sorted by Monday. Hopefully I will have more than 1 winning pic to show. Gotta go win some $$$

Oh crap, chasing a stupid single machine bonus again. I had about 120 spins.mi even recorded it. I have the phone synced now but can't seem to download it. I suck at even that! What a fucking day. A total loss. I'm afraid to count the money, what little is left. Wife lost even more. Omg, I have six more nights here. I'm going to be panhandling by the end. I had to call it a day, leave the chase for the bonus on that stupid machine. I'm such a tool!

If someone tells me how to download video I have about 17mins of idiocy to share.

We go shopping tomorrow, should be cheaper than this stupidity.

    Your luck will turn.

I guess so far it's best that you didn't take the Siena Suite upgrade.

Thanks for mentioning that, BTW. $125 is really a good price for that upgrade, but it does add up over 5 nights.

If it would have been 3 nights I would have done it, you're right. Well the post mortem on yesterday was that we racked up 17,000 points at the palazzo, crazy long gambling. I tried everything to make the big hit but it wasn't there, obviously.

Today is a new day, new hope for and all the possibilities are here. Going to gamble a bit, then hit the outlets, come back and register for the slot tourney that starts tomorrow. I'm going to buy a good bottle of champagne today, just in case!

Good read so far... Hope you're having fun! You mentioned having $1K for the 1st day (I guess) and you were pissed losing $600.
In my book you're still doing good! Personally I'd apply the additional $400 to the next day's "sessions". We all have our $$ systems.

So I go downstairs to the machine, the one with the juicy progressive bonus. You know, the one I dreamt of last night, the one I played for hours, chasing. There she is! Aaaaaaaaahhhhh! The bonus is gone, gone! I knew it, that's why I couldn't sleep last night, someone stole my money!

Funny though, it's like a weight is off my shoulders and I can move on. Maybe like a divorce I guess. Time to mingle!

First hit, 80 cents, free spins on monopoly, 17 spins, then another spin. Advance to park place 8x multiplier. $260 hit, nice start. I go to that pie, poker game. Get dealt a full house, all the pie pieces fill in. 1100 quarters plus the boat. $300! Try again, I have to earn the pie this time but good for another 1500 quarters. Up about $600 so far, just getting started.

I need food, the line for a bagel is long so I decide to cruise to the gold lounge at Venetian. Snack on cheese and crackers. Come out and hit a $5 machine. Boom, again! I hit for $500 bar5 bar5 double. Awesome! Decide to play wheel of fortune! Hit the bonus, all 3 wheels! Tick, tick, tick, major progressive, $330 win. Oh yeah! Moving around, fun four game slot with the buffalo. Some bonuses, just treading water. Then, 5 buffaloes, 103 times! Another $300 hit!

A bit of a lull, not much going on. Decide to play bj. $100, losing, down to $30, $15 bet. Win, double the bet. Win again. Hit again! Back jack, hit again. About 6 times in a row, I win. Take $300 off the table, tip nicely, another $200 win. Play another slot, Abe Lincoln pennies, hit a small progressive. Another $100 up. Getting hungry, work towards new b&b joint. Play triple play with multiplier. Bam! $400 hit, 2222 with kicker and 2x.

Time for the burger and onion rings. It's ok, nothing awesome! Back in the room now, going to register for the slot tourney soon.

I put $1700 in my special stache. Gave my wife a bunch of money too! Nice day today! Still haven't left the resort, crazy! 14,000 points today so far. Going to have some more fun, feeling good!

I took pics, I will post them when I figure that out, nice slot porn.

I just showed my wife he highlight reel! Lady in the elevator wanted me to rub her head, so I did. Booked a small loss chasing poker with that multiplier. About $300 loss. I was having so much fun, I lost track of my $. We are all registered for slot tourney. $7500 top prize, I need that money!

Back at it, about 15000 points today. Insane, most gambling ever!

Lost most of my nfl bets, I guess that career path is safe from me! Gonna finish strong! Oh, and I didn't have to shop today, another epic win! Wife is very cool! One more run today, maybe lord of the rings. Guaranteed winning day today, over $1000. Wife used winnings to buy stuff, nice!

I will check in before I pass out!

I played china shore, or something like that. The ying/yang thing. Hit 102 spins, then another 82. I recorded the first one, a bit of a disappointment. Took a slip of $500 though, kaboom. Then another $300, and another $200. I fucking love the china shore! Wife playing poker, getting killed. I give her $200, then another $100. She is getting blasted. I know I've given her at least $1000 today, probably $1400. She finally gets the poker pie. About $200. Salvages something. I go an play lord of the rings, she calls it a night.

I play for another hour or so, about even. Up about $1200 even with my wife contribution. Great day! Ran 22000 points today, insane! Should be totally comped with this insane gambling.

Tourney and shopping tomorrow. So tired. Killed it today.

Pretty tired today after the marathon session yesterday. Also not feeling the vibe yet so I've stayed away from the casino. Pretty cold outside, -1c. The first session of the slot tourney is at 11:30am so I'm kind of just hanging out for the moment. Wife hit a royal, nickels this morning. She's down $300 today so far. Oh well, we just have to win the tourney.

Nice to hear about the new slots at Palazzo.
Have you spotted or played Iron Man anywhere?

This is my kind of report. I enjoy hearing about slot
wins and hubby likes VP, so it's all good to us.

We generally bounce from Palazzo/Venetian to Wynn/Encore.
Lots of slot variety and great food choices and cocktail service.

Wishing you and your wife continued luck and keep those
    posts coming.
We'll be there on Jan. 3rd for two nights so I'm living vicariously through
    you right now.

Feel free to mention any other new slots you might play or see
    at these properties? Thanks.

Good luck on getting your photos up. I'm really looking forward to seeing them.

    Wow impressive comeback! Congrats!

You usually don't read about anyone climbing out from a hole on slots unless they hit a big jackpot. But you've done it by chipping away at the loss with smaller wins. I think that is pretty unusual. Good for you and good luck in the tourney.

The first slot round is in the books, I had 5200points, lowest in my group. Another dream shattered.

We cruised over to the mirage, had salad at California kitchen, strolled through the place. I had a few mlife points so I played the new Avatar slot. Amazing graphics! If you are into avatar this will be a hit. Many varieties of bonuses, something for everyone. I looked for my favorite Clue game, since it is gone from the palazzo, couldn't find it. Strolled over to caesars, then harrahs, casino royale, no clue anywhere, neither the new or the old version. Too bad one of my favorite games appears to be retired.

All the casinos seem busy today, Harrahs is packed. I'm not a big cet fan, but the cowboys in town sure love it.

On to the casino floor, time to do some damage!
