If you were going to Vegas for a week and could only stay at 1 casino and could not leave it, which one would you pick? Base youanswer on Casino Hotel room and clubs and restaurants.

Cosmo easy. Good dining options, good rooms, and the best club. they alsO have a nice bar to lounge at and a nice sports bar for VP.

Second place for me would be aria due to good beds and decent restaurant choices.

    Wynn.

Rarely leave the building when I stay there.

Bellagio. I like the casino, the rooms and the food choices.

With gambling out of the picture, Wynn is my choice.

With gambling... probably The Cal.

I've yet to even go inside the Cosmo, but I have a good friend who arrived in LV last night, he is staying there and he posted a short video of the view from his balcony overlooking the Bellagio Fountains :nworthy:

Based on my own experiences, I'd probably choose MGM because you can sleep, eat, shop, & dine anywhere on the strip, but I love going to shows and with MGM you'd have a few shows plus Brad Garrett's comedy club, and if I could pick my weekend I'd go on December 28 for UFC 168

Yeah, either Wynn or Encore, for customer service, nice rooms and restaurant selection (clueless about clubs). Took one of the worst beatings of my life at Encore years back. Never gambled another penny there since.

Throwing gambling in the mix, for me it would probably be Palms.

Great food choices, good pool, tons of gaming choices, good HL and decent low play stuff,,,can even go to big name shows and concerts

I really could go into MGM and not leave and be very happy

    Orleans.

A few years back, I stayed there for three days & never left the building.

    My thoughts:

    1. Large, comfortable rooms.
    2. Very spacious casino with many different types of gaming.
    3. Cinema upstairs.
    4. Lots of great food choices!
    5. Economical liquor store & gift shop.
    6. In the summer, the pool area is pleasant & not nearly as crowded as Mirage, Mandalay, etc.
    7. I've actually taken fairly long walks for exercise there during inclement weather. By using all
of their carpeted hallways to the indoor stadium, etc, you can really stretch your legs without
getting sore feet from concrete or worrying about traffic.
    8. This is kind of subjective, but I feel like I fit in there socio-economically. Nobody is snobby & there
    are no panhandler.

I'm not clear how practical my choice is supposed to be, so, since I'm a practical person, I'm going to say Caesars, because I can generally afford it or get comped, I'll get TR points for all my play, plus, as others have said about other properties, it's big, with lots of choices, big-name shows, nice pool, shopping, restaurants, self-contained-city.

Bellagio. Even though it's not my top pick in any single category, it is still makes top overall through consistency.

Mirage and Wynn might be the next two on my list.

Venetian/Palazzo would be an interesting pick if this question permitted this to be considered a single complex.

Wynncore hands down. I could always send somebody over to Grimaldi's to pick up a pizza. Second place would be V/P. In fact, with the exception of a stop at M Resort for the buffet on the way into town, I don't think we bother much with anyplace else anymore. Our two favorite places are just an airbridge from each other.

MB because we love the restaurants and the spa. In contrast, purgatory would not being able to leave Quad/Imperial Palace.

Stevecore, because I feel so happy walking through there and the rooms are the best. But this assumes I would have the budget for their restaurants and gambling limits.

We stay there 6 or 7 times a year and never leave the property.....unless I really want to see the Conservatory at Bellagio. Great restaurants and rooms and outstanding service. Never been to the clubs, but isn't XS one of the top clubs in Vegas?

    Hey Now!!!!

I second Orleans- for all the aforementioned reasons, and the fitness center too.

I'd say Aria. I love the hotel beds, I'm not a club goer, but enjoy the pool, the fitness center and the Spa. I LOVE the Pizza at 50 - and I enjoy the café. I also think the bartenders at the sports book are fun. I would try some of the restaurants I have not tried. Roasted Bean for my daily coffee.. Yep.. those are all reasons to keep me inside.
