has anyone played the mirage's DD game recently? i read somewhere mirage changed their 3:2 to 6:5. i remember they had 1 dd by the high limit room. is that game still 3:2? and also i know the DD at polazzo main floor is bad but has anyone have experience playing that game in their high limit?

Man that would be bad news about Mirage. Has for years been a decent place to go and play quarter DD as many others fall. Can anyone confirm?

I played the mirage dd game at the end of October.

it still had the good rules (s17 das 3:2) with a $25 minimum during non peak times (daytime midweek)

I was at the Mirage in the middle of November, and the DD deck game just outside HL still had the great rules; great rules are still in HL as well. I seem to recall that the limit was $25 most of the time I was there, but I mainly played in the HL room as the drink service on the floor was terrible whenever I tried to sit at the DD table outside HL.

Some friends played BJ in the pit just outside the poker room, and the entire area (not just the tables along the main walkway) were 6:5. The only 3:2 tables were in the section of tables spanning from across the host's office to the Revolution bar, all seemed to be $25 min.

I played there too but I think the DD s17 3:2 game was a minimum of $50 when I played on a Friday and Saturday night. I was heads up with the dealer the entire time I played too!

I played at that $25 table in early November. It still had those great rules. The limits were $25 on Tuesday and Wednesday but $50 on both Monday and Thursday evenings.

The table was never crowded. There were normally only 2-4 people playing.

That DD game by the HL room is the last vestige of what used to be the best selection of blackjack on the strip.
Spread over 3 units and the pit circles like the NSA.

Aria and Bellagio will be $50(weekdays during the day) or $100 mins(weekends and evenings) in my experience.

This table at Mirage has been labeled a 'counter trap' and I've been it's victim once (luckily I was playing with no card). I believe they do watch this table like a hawk because of the lower limit and good rules, and expect to find and bounce a lot of counters at it.

I took them for something like $10k playing there for an hour or two on a trip earlier this year. The place was busy, but not a ton of folks gambling at those tables. So, the pit boss stood right there and watched me play and talked to me for at least the first 30-45 minutes I played. He called upstairs and had a host come introduce himself to me. I guess that means they REALLY weren't afraid that I was counting!
