I know there's fancy breakfast to be had, and of course the Hash House a Go Go is terrific. I'm looking for suggestions for decent, basic breakfast. I hear Cheeseburger in the Miracle Mile has a good breakfast, and I did have a tasty breakfast at a Tex-Mex bar between MGM and PH a couple years ago... can't remember the name.

I find if I load up with a good breakfast I can get by until dinner....any and all suggestions welcome.

Thanks in advance, friends. 7 sleeps and counting.....:evillaugh

I love a good breakfast buffet as my main meal of the day. On the strip I always enjoy the Mirage Buffet at $16.99. The have a good omelet station, and all the fixings.

If you are willing to take the shuttle bus to Orleans or Gold Coast, you can get a comparable buffet for under ten bucks.

Grand Lux at the Venetian or Palazzo. Harrah's cafe offers a basic breakfast at a decent (by Vegas standards) price

Just off-strip, but the $5.99 steak and eggs special at Ellis Island is delicious and will easily carry you through until dinner. It's only served until 10:00 am, maybe 11:00 (I'm not sure).

I've had pretty good breakfasts at Planet Dailies in Planet Hollywood, as well. But you really should try EI at least once.

I've heard so much about Ellis Island....might have to give it a try.

The Peppermill at the northern end of the Strip is another worthwhile trip for breakfast.

La Cantina in the Miracle Mile. They have a basic breakfast for $3.99 and it was good.

Margaritaville, take your Rewards card and you get 20%off. Great view of the strip while getting a great breakfast.

    - The Stardust has a breakfast special for $2.99. Piles of bacon.

    - The Frontier has a $1.99 buffet special, but it might not turn out well.

    - The Flamingo is $4.99 with a big selection. You eat in the ballroom to the left of the bar. I warn you though, the eggs will be very runny.

Oh, sorry. That was a cut and paste from when I was 22. Disregard.

I will also second the Grand Luxe. BOTH are solid plays.

My vote is for the Peppermill. Great food, huge portions, decent prices.

    Call ahead for immediate seating.

OMG, Peppermill is a little out of the way, but really good and HUGE portions. Highly recommend and be sure to check out the lounge. Also, I've not had it myself but I hear very good things about B'fast at Mon Ami Gabi.
