Hubbie and I just booked a trip. This will be a completely different trip than we have ever taken, financially. We got airfare out of Chicago for $344 rt for both, with Allegiant. We haven't flown with them since they started nickel diming everything, so it'll be interesting. We did not pay for seats, so I'm assuming we won't be next to each other. We did pay for a carry on though. Ridiculous Two nights comped at Cosmo, one bedroom king terrace, and then two nights comped at Mirage. I will double book a night at a Harrahs property to get some free play and a $150 Southwest voucher. Can't beat that. We plan on doing very little gambling this trip. Let's see how that works out. We are going to be able to do a bunch of things we always said we wanted to do, but never seem able to get to, since our butts are in the casino too long, lol. This is also the first trip in I can't remember how long, that it's just the two of us. Can't wait, now I have to figure out the countdown thingy which always takes me forever, lol
Sounds like a great trip! We always have good intentions on doing other things too - never happens though Must be a good time to book. I just scored $229 airfare on Delta out of MSP for our June trip. I haven't paid less than like $350 in I don't even remember how long.
Sounds like a good trip. I mixed it up from my norm the last 2 trips (April and October). My girlfriend had never been to Vegas so I used these 2 trips to kind of "start over" and do things other than gambling. We went to a bunch of shows, went to Hoover Dam, did the ATV ride at Valley of Fire, etc... still had time for the craps tables but it was fun doing some other things. Have fun!
