last week the put up scafolding over the whole pool are so you can party all winter out there.
it was crazy they blocked off traffic for a week while they raised this mega structure 200 feet from the street to the club by crane.

Anyone have a photo? I see no news on their webpage or Google in general and searching for marquee pool covered just brings up prices to get in.

It was open when I went to Marquee last weekend. Nothing on top to cover people, just that structure. Made it look like Light Dayclub's structure.

Is it covered with plexiglass or something? And is it climate controlled making the pool usable in the winter?

They turned it into an ice skating rink! $15 per person, there was a groupon that lasted about 12 hours for half price that I wasn't quick enough for :(. Wonder if hotel guests get any kind of discount?

When they put the cover over Marquee pool it was to utilize table space. I was talking to one of the GM's and the plan for it might be a monthly pool party, but not sure if they want to. Everyone has been comparing Marquee to Drais pool, thats not the intentions of Marquee. Drais will be more like Surrender.

If only they would put 10% of that time, effort, and dollars into attracting gamblers.....the property might not be hemorrhaging so much money

i dont think there problem is getting gamblers i think if they had better table and casino odds gamblers would come.

they didnt loose that much cosidering they dont court gamblers.

rember all those kids that go to marquee and sit down at those table games with bad odds are a plus to them.ive seen when marquee is open there tables not high limit packed.those kids dont care.the spend tons at clubs resturants and other things and dont think twice about it and dont want any comps for it.

should be interesting now that marque will have the pool and gaming open in the winter and they are openning a new concert hall and club they should come close to break even imagine if they cared about gamblers

The other club is more of a lounge, not sure about to much right now, just know they are in the hiring process now.
Went to Marquee last night and have to say pretty neat. It will maintain 80 degrees and right now there isnt much as far as lasers and light show, but the end of the week i was told it will be all installed and going. By putting the cover over the pool it adds 40 or so cabanas. I said before that they are in the figuring out process on pool parties.

ill ask im under the impression the structure comes down in a few months.

took under a week to do the whole thing.

actually its only trusses so they can be dismantled up there and stored im sure thats an option.

ill ask as to what they will be doing
