I am booked for a 5 night stay at Bally's for Superbowl weekend. 5 Nights, only getting a slight discount, gonna cost about $600 total. Just got an offer from Luxor, can do same five nights and save about $250. I have stayed at both and slightly prefer Ballys, but $250 is $250. I only get full COMP at Station Casinos, so this will likely be my only decent offer.

Anyone stayed at Luxor for the "BIG GAME", whats the hot spots close for watching the game? Any good deals popping up?

Sorry can't answer that but as you know you will be giving up a great center strip location! Not sure if it is worth the extra hassle of getting somewhere that far south on strip for that amount of savings for five nights.

Yeah, I dont mind the south strip. We usually spend a night at Mix at Mandalay and a night at LAX at Luxor. I was just concerned about a decent placed to watch the game.

We have three groups going, so it saves a lot of money for three rooms. Since I go 3x a year, I am always trying to shave my room costs. We decided to give it a try, we actually could have gotten a suite for the same price as the Ballys room, but we just went w the standard pyramid room which has worked for us in the past.

The book at Luxor is not good for viewing and their bars are not much better. Bets bet would be to head next door to Mandalay Bay and try to catch the game there

I think there was another active post about where to watch the game.

Also, did you get a "superbowl offer", or just a room offer during the superbowl? Big difference,

My title is a little misleading I guess, I have a room offer, if I had a "Superbowl Offer" I wouldnt be looking for a place to watch the game I suppose. I guess "Room Offer during Superbowl Weekend" would have been a better title.

Luxor isn't that bad, but you MUST stay in a Tower room, they are much nicer.

I'd go to Mandalay Bay and catch the game, it's an easy walk.

Just be prepared all the sports books are so busy on Superbowl Sunday. You might wanna find some sort of out of the way place to watch it.

That is exactly what we are looking for. Prob gonna cab it somewhere off strip. Lots of decent options to the south.

Yea then go for it! I personally don't hate Luxor, it's a really good value, and a decent place. Oh yea and if you have a car, no problem.

I stayed at the Luxor for super bowl weekend a few years ago...for the NO/Indy super bowl. I was able to get a free room for 3 days but it wasn't a super bowl offer. We just watched the game at Tacos and Tequila.

It's upstairs on the 2nd floor. There are some escalators that lead up to that floor from the casino. It wasn't very crowded...which is why we ended up choosing it. It seems like people don't know it exists. We're weren't interested in a paying $100 for a super bowl party. It wasn't your typical super bowl crowd so there wasn't a lot of screaming and yelling at the game going on. I didn't eat anything there but all of the food I saw going to other tables looked pretty good.

They had some hot girl pimping some beer that night and she hung out with us a lot. Google her...Brooke Becker. If you are looking for a lively super bowl crowd experience this wasn't it. If you just want to relax and watch the game then this could do.

Yeah, were just looking for a place that isn't charging to get in and doesn't want $9 a beer. We have a group, so don't need outside entertainment. Thanks for the tip, sounds like something to check out!

If you're fully comped at Stations, would you get an offer for the SB party there? We've been to RR's SB party for the last couple of years and it was great.
