Looks like V/P is still trying to get me to book a trip. I got 2 seperate mailers for 3 comped nights each and additional perks, in the mail today. I mentioned in another thread I haven't played there in over a year. They started sending me these monthly offers about 3-4 months ago. They know I mostly play UTH, which they have killed the comps and ratings for. Maybe they realize that even with my small level of play (green chips), they still come out a big winner when I play that game and the free rooms are a drop in the bucket.

I actually think they are either trying to win back previous patrons, or they have made some positive changes with regards to table games and want us to give them another chance. I hope it is the latter. In reality, what will happen is I will book one of these offers, play my usual game, and then they will have a WTF (!) moment and say, "how did this guy get on our monthly marketing list?" Poof...no more offers. Well, I am getting 2 offers per month, so I am holding out and hoping they will keep them coming until the Spring so I can pounce n' bounce on both of them. However, if anyone else has been getting these and gambles small like me, let me know if you have still been getting the offers after booking one.

My play disappeared. They tried for well over a year to get me come back. I think they have just about given up.

They do not cater to gamblers. Plain and simple.

Doesn't surprise me. The Palazzo casino is pretty sparse most of the time. They probably figure anything is better than an empty seat. The V side is much better but not too many make the short walk to the other side. They need to find a way to fill the Palazzo casino with something as it's pretty damn quiet.

I just booked one of these offers at P. I thought it was strange to get offers from them even though I've never stayed there, but I'm not complaining! Hilariously, it comes with a set of stone VP themed COASTERS. This may be the strangest casino "gift" I've ever come across.

I got one of the same offers in 2012,and I had never been to either V or P....it was just a "teaser", because I used it, have them some play and never saw anything else even remotely close to as good as 3 nights + fsp...

I was there on an offer Sun-Tuesday, I had very low play for them to start sending me offers, but I'll take it. They've sent me 5 offers for 3 nights + a complimentary entry in a slot tournament, since September.

I was very happy with my trip! I just play slots (me and my guest both won some money), the casino is big, they have all the new games (so does Palazzo). The slot tournament was really fun, even though I didn't win. The rooms are very nice, they even let us check in at 11:30, and we got a larger room upgrade. We barely left the property on our 3 day trip. Also to get some free rooms there, with no resort fee, is a huge deal. It would of cost us probably $700 to book that room midweek. It's not like a free room at Flamingo or whatever (which they don't even send me haha)

If I have any issues with this place, it's that it's TOO big. Exhausting to walk around. But, if I get another one one a good date, I will book it immediately.

LOL I got the coaster one too, made me laugh.

Same here. They even called me to get me back and I told them to take me off their system, which they apparently did as I haven't heard from them since.

here's the latest email offer from V/P:

    Dear Deghen G. Booler,

Stadium Gaming is the sensational experience that gives you the chance to play roulette and low-limit baccarat at the same time - from one comfortable seat. It's fast-paced. It's incredibly easy. It's a way to play solo or with a group. And it's only available at The Palazzo.

We want you to enjoy this revolutionary way to play for yourself. Please be our guest for three complimentary nights in a luxurious suite at The Venetian or at The Palazzo, on select dates, based on availability*. You'll also enjoy $100 in Slot Credits† to use in our new Stadium Gaming area .

Track baccarat trends and bet two shoes from the same seat and for the first time on a live dealt table game, receive at least 6% of your theoretical win back in free play or Resort Comps** for your play in Stadium Gaming.

Stadium Gaming feels like slots, with live dealers spinning the roulette wheel and dealing baccarat at the front of the room. You'll see all the action live on-screen, and you'll have the freedom to play both games at the same time. You can play as quickly - or as leisurely - as you like, with convenient betting right from your own terminal.

I am currently getting about one email offer per week and one mailer every two weeks...they are upping the frequency. I am 100% certain they are casting bait to lure me in, since I have not played there in well over a year.

    Here is the fine print:

†Based on a three night stay. When you stay two nights, receive $75 in Slot Credits.

Offer is expressly conditioned upon recipient maintaining his or her historical level of play as of the mailing date of this offer. This offer is intended solely for the person with the Grazie ID number referenced above. The Venetian and The Palazzo will only honor offers made to the intended recipient and will not honor any offers that have been sent or received in error. Proper proof of identification is required. Must be 21 years of age or older. Offer is non-transferable, subject to availability, and may not be used in conjunction with any other offer within a five-day period. Guest may receive multiple promotional or event offers. Guest is limited to two promotional or event offer reservations at any given time.

*A minimum stay of two nights is required. Any additional suites or nights are at the prevailing rate. Cancellations must be received 72 hours prior to arrival or will be subject to a charge up to $479 plus tax for the first night's room. Suite accommodations are based on Luxury Suites at The Venetian or The Palazzo. Offer is based on single or double occupancy and added charges may apply for additional guests. Must present credit card at time of booking and upon check-in.

†To redeem gaming offer, guest must choose from either Slot Credits or Table Match Play. Patron may not redeem both. Slot Credits will be auto-loaded to guest's Grazie card. Guest must play $1 in order to download Slot Credits. Guest must visit a Grazie Desk in order to receive Table Match Play. Guest cannot redeem non-suite components more than once per visit. Must be a registered hotel guest and your reservation must be coded to this offer in order to redeem the non-suite components. All gaming offers expire 24 hours after check-out.

** Must visit Grazie desk to redeem comps. All Slot Reward Points redemptions are subject to terms and conditions. Must have a minimum of 2,500 in Slot Reward Points to redeem. See Grazie desk for details.

My historical level of slot play is maybe $20. I shall play $21 this time...lol.

This new stadium game is right next to the Pai Gow pit and the Champagne bar. I got the same email offer today.

That stadium thing is an interesting concept.

I wonder if these bacc tables and roulette wheel have live players at them?

Probably not. They must be kind of like machine games with a live dealer - the chance to bet is on a timer or something.

I saw this nearly done during my trip a month ago with the tables seemingly in place. There isn't any room for players around the table.

Im curious to see it. In the mailer, the thing looks HUGE, and Encore's casino isn't really that big. It must take up 10% of the gaming floor or something. . .

It's big but you are thinking of the wrong casino floor. This is in the Palazzo which is quite spacious. There are probably 30 plus seats for people to play at. One thing about it is the design isn't very stadium like but maybe if it takes off future venues will have a better design.

Eek. Sorry- I did mean to say Palazzo, but thanks for the info. I'll play a few there for kicks when I'm in town, though I suspect I'll be running back to the normal tables. It sounds like a similar setup as they have with the table games with animatronic dealing arms at Resorts World in Queens.

They have live dealers for both the baccarat side and the roulette side. They were just finishing setting it up the last time I was there. You can bet either game or both at the same time, and I think there are two baccarat deals going on at once. Looks like a gateway drug for getting people into baccarat.

Does anyone know what the "$25k January Slot" on the 17th-20th is? Nothing comes up when I click on it.

I haven't gotten anything for events past NYE yet but I also don't get slot promos either. The only slot free play I've ever received was for the new stadium gaming which isn't a slot but probably has the same payment process. Clicking on the links on the Grazie page doesn't bring up what the offers are either. I just get emails with links that I don't log in for and snail mail too.
