I love these things, had one tonight.

I liked it better when they came out in early fall.

Every time I have a McRib I feel deathly ill afterwards. One of these days, that'll stop me from eating them.

Worst sandwich ever. Tried one once due to the hype.... One bite was two too many.

I haven't eaten Beef or Pork in almost 30 years. What started off back in 1984 as a diet experiment - turned into one of those things I just can't bring myself to do.
I can't stand watching someone eat a Steak or Hamburger but if I had to choose I'd probably choose Pork over Beef. For now I'll just stick to Chicken and Turkey.

    That's just freakin' weird!!!!

Ha! That always happens around here for some reason... the OP says, "I had a fun time last night." Then the next post is, "I don't like night"... followed by another one that says, "I've been opposed to fun since 1959."... and so on...

Personally, I haven't had a McRib, but lord knows I eat my share of fast food and LOVE it. There's a local radio personality "Arnie" on the Rob, Arnie and Dawn show that raves about this sandwich every time it's back on the menu. I'll for sure give it a try.

McRib fucking rocks. It's a happy day when the McRib banner shows up on the McDonald's window.

Pretty sure it is just back in Canada. Is it a permanent menu item in the US?

I'm in the southeast US and it is seasonal for me. Nowadays it starts now and I think it runs through the end of December.

I have eaten Scrapple, original McNuggets, Slim Jim's, Steak Umm, and Mc Rib. Except for scrapple, each one is a product of science, either mechanical separation of meat from scraps or some binding agent that brings it all together. I don't really want to know how or what they are made of as long as it tastes good if I choose to eat one three times a year. Life is about variety and moderation, so I just hope I didn't miss the McRib window of opportunity.

To those who don't like McRib, more for me.

    God's truth right there.

I had one once, way back in the wee beginnings of the '80s, spring break trip out on the road. Even as a young 'un with a palate that freely embraced Rainier Ale, this baby was just flat out horrid. I mean, McD's ain't exactly know for greatness, but this thing fell right out of the movie Aliens.

And to the OP, don't worry. Lotta love in this place even as we rip each other's tastes and sensibilities. lol

Does the sandwich meat come with the bones on it as it looks like on the picture or is that just pressed meat to look like ribs? Sorry if a silly question.
